As soon as we arrived, we immediately felt welcome. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was very quick, polite and helpful and we really appreciated being treated like people rather than just ‘another customer’. The bed was very comfy, slept like a rock! Cleanliness was a massive tick, didn’t feel uncomfortable to sit or rest my hand on anywhere, knowing it’s not filthy. Shower pressure was actually fine, it’s a lot lighter than ours at home but it wasn’t ridiculously slow like some other places I've stayed. Location wise it is right next to the mall, grocery shops and more! Perfect location no matter what your reason for travel is. I would stay there again, when we return!

Everything! The owners of the motel were so friendly and helpful. John, the host, came to our room to tell us that there were kangaroos down on the golf course that the rooms overlook. It made my mums day watching them all gathered there and then coming up to outside the rooms to drink from the birdbath. The room was comfortable and had everything that we needed, the breakfast provided was fab, and it was lovely hearing all the birds in the trees each night while sitting outside with a beer. Would definitely come back!

Well equipped studio to stop at when travelling from Sydney to Melbourne. Wish I could have met Dave, the host but got in late and left early. Would highly recommend this place.

Room was suitable for one night.

Room was suitable for one night. Clean tidy and tea and coffee provided. Fridge etc. Bed was comfy.Bedd8ng and towels clean and fresh. View was of car ppark.so nothing nice about that. Poolwas grotty looking and water looked murky and on the front so you only had cars to watch zooming up the rd..we didn't use it as very disappointed with the position and look of it. The restaurant was closed and not open anymore..huge let down as we had a breakfast in it ..cold breakfast cereals, fruit yoghurt..it was lovely room and would be great to have dined in it. The staff were friendly . Check in was easy. Room wasn't ready but we had notified them our arrival time. It was a short drive to the beach front. Fuel was easy to find..check out prices cause some were very expensive. Motel was next to a BP fuel station.

Country location with a city feel.

Country location with a city feel. Great cafes and restaurants in both Albury and Wodonga. High end shopping centre. Short drive to wineries and and tourist towns like Beechworth, Bright and Yarrawonga. When ever I am in Albury I always stock up on great produce at Harris’s Farm Markets. Take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens.

It was just an overnight stop returning from Canberra.

It was just an overnight stop returning from Canberra. The city is relatively large and sprawling and difficult to navigate with compulsory turns etc. Signs pointing to "i" information were confusing, but after I gave up looking for it, I found that it was in the library and quite helpful for maps and brochures of things to do. For someone not familiar with the area, Wodonga (over the river) is much easier to navigate. In the evening I had dinner at the pizza restaurant (in the main street of Albury), but they also have pastas, mains, salads etc, and I was happy with my choice. The following morning I went to Gateway Island, on the Victorian side of the river, planning to do the 4-5 km Gateway Island trail, but actually ended up doing the Crossing Place Trail just over the road which was also 4-5 km with sculptures and information along the river bank.

The staff were incredibly friendly & supportive.

The staff were incredibly friendly & supportive. The room was spacious & clean. Location was wonderful. We loved the Botanical gardens - Aurora - Tides of Treasure evening was terrific. We enjoyed our breakfast at ‘The River Deck Cafe’ & a lovely walk. The Monument in the evening was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a picnic by the Hume Dam. Crocodile spring rolls are worth a try at the ‘ 2640 Restaurant and Bar’ Very easy to get around

The train station and the employee who is full of knowledge...

The train station and the employee who is full of knowledge about the trains. Loved hearing his information, very informative. Botanical garden light show was excellent. Great price. the Memorial for the war on top of the hill was great. Love Albury and its old houses and history.

I really liked Albury and surrounding district.

I really liked Albury and surrounding district. We did a drive around the Hume Weir and stopped at very small towns for coffee, lunch etc. These were charming and the people were very friendly. Most of the old pubs we stopped at had roaring fires going in their dining rooms, which made it very warm and inviting. The wineries are great places to visit and the markets in Rutherglen were very interesting with a great number of stalls. It was very cold however, so rug up. We also toured around the Silo Trail in the area. These were very interesting and in very small townships, which were interesting to see.

The room was well designed and Very spacious with a great view (a higher floor would have been sensational!). The man who served me at the restaurant desk for breakfast was great and memorable, very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is minutes walk away from the beautiful Albury Botanical Gardens, awesome! The ANZAC monument is not far either, further up the hill and well worth the walk. There was a problem with the heating but this was remedied promptly and exceptionally well by the concierge.

We only had one night at the Quest on Kiewa St Albury, but we'll definitely stay the next time we visit. So clean, quiet and modern, and reception staff could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious with a spotless bathroom and kitchenette, which would make for a very comfortable stay for a longer visit. Beds were super comfy with beautiful crisp linen. The hotel is in walking distance to shops and restaurants and plenty of free parking.
