Great little town, highly recommend the Bullanginya Dreaming...

Great little town, highly recommend the Bullanginya Dreaming light installation and the Sporties for a family friendly meal experience. Lots to do in the area if you're prepared to travel anywhere from 10 - 45 mins away. We'll be back in the warmer months to do all the things we didn't get time for this trip.

we went out at night came back and the light on the sign...

we went out at night came back and the light on the sign outside the motel was off on both nights we were out - dark coming from the distance. Didn't look good especially on the first night we weren't very familiar with the area

If you are a golfer then this is the place for you, but if...

If you are a golfer then this is the place for you, but if you don’t play golf but don’t mind a nice club to dine at and maybe play pokies or bet on the horses or even play some virtual games, then this is the spot for you. Magnificent weather and The Sportsman’s Motor Inn is in the perfect location to take advantage of all that is on offer. We have stayed there many times and it never fails to deliver. Just over the bridge is Cobram and it too is a lovely town with lots to offer. The slogan up there should be “Everyone Should Hurry To The Murray!”

I would suggest stopping at the RACV at Cobram if...

I would suggest stopping at the RACV at Cobram if considering a leisure holiday to sightsee or play golf etc. Especially if you have children. The pool at the Barooga Aquatic Centre is only small & busy however the staff are very pleasant. Golf is fairly expensive as it is everywhere but the Sporties Club is very nice & modern and well worth a visit.

absolutely loved the place we stayed we enjoyed the quiet...

absolutely loved the place we stayed we enjoyed the quiet and the park’s facilities my son was having so much fun at the park we didn’t need to go out to entertain him we enjoyed a bbq dinner and just the place itself was amazing even though it was to cold to go in the pool my son loved walking along the bridge and seeing the owls

Very spacious unit.

Very spacious unit. Aircon was excellent, 37 degress when we got there, and Unit was cooled down in minutes . WI Fi was also excellent and easy to connect. Bathroom and Kitchen facilities were also good. BBQ area was quite large and a fridge and utensils were provided. Massive grounds for kids to play and paddle in the pool. We will be back there in the near future.

The location was superb. Just across the road from a beautiful Botanic Garden. Jacqueline was very welcoming and not obtrusive, but was on hand if any issues arose. Lovely clean pool and covered bbq area. There was a nearby IGA, and Chemist within walking distance. My friend and I can totally recommend the Chinese Restaurant nearby for dine-in and take-away. Also we enjoyed a couple of meals at the Barooga Hotel. All in all, our week’s stay was wonderful. 10/10.

Perfect location . Hotel next door walking distance for dinner . Units self contained if you wish to cook your meals comfortable and spacious. We order full breakfast definite value for money , my husband and I struggled to get through every thing on the plate . Would definitely order again . Management and staff friendly and helpful . Will definitely be back . Relaxing and comfortable stay
