The country hospitality of the people was great wherever we went! The varied architecture is amazing. The exhibition at the Art Gallery brought us to Bendigo but the other galleries and shops in the street were wonderful too. Had a great dinner at the Rifle Brigade Hotel near where we were staying at the Bendigo Oval Motel. Lunch next day was at Wholefoods Kitchen - delicious and healthy. Can't wait to return to explore other areas of Bendigo!

Bendigo is not too far from Melbourne (regular trains) and has some beautiful buildings, gardens, the cathedral, Ulumbarra Theatre, the Capitol Theatre and the art gallery. There are also activities for kids including the Discovery Centre and some great playgrounds (eg Lake Weroona and Eaglehawk)

Had a great long weekend at Neat Retreat. Immaculately clean with lots of thoughtful touches and very comfy beds. Warm and cosy. Has a fully equiped modern kitchen, although we didn’t use it much. Close enough to walk into the centre of Bendigo to experience the history, architecture, art and great dining options. We also visited the local Brougham Arms hotel which does an excellent dinner. Our stay could not have been better. The quiet street and block out blinds meant we slept well and feel relaxed and rested. Highly recommended!!

My recent stay at Bendigo All Seasons was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff provided a warm welcome and attentive service. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The bistro was excellent, offering a diverse menu of delicious dishes. The staff provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Good old fashioned customer service with a smile. Highly recommended.

Location is fantastic, right in the centre of Bendigo. The verandah on the Shamrock is a fantastic spot to sit and watch the world go by. The history of the hotel is fascinating as well. Also, credit must go to staff member Cody. He was very helpful with information on parking and fixing our room key issue.

The location of the hotel was suitable to visit places for the visit to Bendigo. Bit unusual not having a reception area. Room size was ok. Bed was a bit lumpy. Mattress marked my body. No water or other drinks in the fridge. No glasses to use. Towels were plentiful.

There is another Quest hotel right in the centre of Bendigo, but this one is much more spacious, has more comfortable parking, a swimming pool and enormous rooms in the apartment. Still very close to centre of town.
