The country hospitality of the people was great wherever we went! The varied architecture is amazing. The exhibition at the Art Gallery brought us to Bendigo but the other galleries and shops in the street were wonderful too. Had a great dinner at the Rifle Brigade Hotel near where we were staying at the Bendigo Oval Motel. Lunch next day was at Wholefoods Kitchen - delicious and healthy. Can't wait to return to explore other areas of Bendigo!

Good location- directly across the street from Deborah gold mine and the start of the talking tram. Approx 15-20km walk from centre of town ( or a $15 taxi ride). Free parking at the hotel. Lovely pool and heated indoor spa. Room very spacious with large bed and sofa. Very comfortable bed- almost as good as our bed at home. Spa bath just about big enough for 2. Lovely hot shower with good pressure. Room and pool area both very clean and well looked after. Pub/ restaurant has a good varied menu with many GF options and good food.

Very friendly and helpful owner Check-in was simple with the code they give you for the room Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Shower was good. I used the hotel as a stop over as I was passing through Bendigo and didn't get a chance to see much of the city, but the location appeared to be quite central. WiFi in the room was excellent I didn't use the other facilities the hotel offered, but these could be useful for others staying longer.

Very clean and quiet. Well appointed. Easy check in and out. All of the usual take-aways (Maccas, Hungry Jacks, KFC, Red Rooster) plus a few ethnic cafes in walking range. Hotel across the road has a good pub food menu and will deliver free. Easy walk to Cathedral, a bit further to Arts Precinct. Would certainly stay there again if visiting Bendigo

The cottage was a small oasis at the end of a 4 week work trip where we drove from Melbourne to Adelaide to Mildura, Wagga Wagga, Shepparton and finally Bendigo! Our hotel booking screwed up and we found this cottage at the 11th hour - Sue was a fantastic and responsive host! We couldn’t have asked for a better ending place!
