Bremer Bay, out of the busy season is a quiet, beachside town with a general store, brewery and beautiful beaches. If you enjoy nature and beaches it’s a relaxing town. A car is needed for exploring. There is a sports club for golf and bowls. You are best to bring your supplies as food and alcohol can be expensive. Bremer Bay Resort restaurant is very good place to eat with lovely friendly staff.

Enjoyed everywhere we went.

Enjoyed everywhere we went. Bremer Bay Brewery for lunch, Bremer Bay Resort for dinner & accommodation, Orca’s mobile coffee van is a must! They even sang us happy birthday & had a candle. Pretty special place & people.

The orca trip was well organised and worth the money.

The orca trip was well organised and worth the money. We saw orca at a short distance and were surrounded by hundreds (really!) of dolphins playing. The beaches are beautiful and we were sorry we didn’t have more time to explore them. Dining options are limited.

I went for the whale watching tours with Whale Watch Western Australia (for the 4th time). The Bremer Bay resort was able to welcome us earlier than the check in time. IGA is only 3 mins down the road, Op Shop (Wed & Sat only) is 2mins. Fisheries Beach for Whale Watch Western Australia is about 7mins away and the other beaches are within 10-15 mins drive. Heaps of 4WD opportunities and fabulous sunrise images from Short Beach & sunset photos from Blossoms, Native Dog & the Observation point car park.

Bremer bay is a very small remote place.

Bremer bay is a very small remote place. It is beautiful but more for people who like camping fishing or wanting to see orcas ( which you must book a boat tour for. Otherwise there isn’t much to do, only one pub ( although fabulous) only a very small supermarket thing. We came from Esperance so we’re very underwhelmed with Bremer bay in comparison but people with other interests may like it. It’s a long drive for what it was and personally found it similar too a small town north of Perth which is a much shorter drive!

First time visitors, having 3 nights in Bremer Bay after work activities and a short holiday in Bridgetown, before heading home to Esperance. Nice beaches, Museum was interesting, good food, very friendly! The views are exceptional! We are not into fishing, but noticed many places to do it :)
