Stayed at Colac central motel on main street was great close...
Stayed at Colac central motel on main street was great close to shops. Went to La Porchetta for tea was amazing as had chicken Parm agama was cooked so well. Only had time to shop and see the lake as was on short stay overnight but will be going back to see more. Colac was a very beautiful country town beside the lake that is well worth visiting.

Only problem was the thousands of semi-trailers travelling right through town every day...Noisy..and the animal trucks with animals on smelled...for a minute each time..they should provide a by-pass for their convenience and ours
Otherwise great
Excellent shopping, and browsing, entertainment. Ten pin Bowling.

We visited the Colac Botanic Gardens which overlooked Lake...
We visited the Colac Botanic Gardens which overlooked Lake Colac. It was very popular with walkers, cyclists and tourists and is very picturesque. It is possible to drive through the gates and around the grounds in a circular drive.

Is a lovely little park. This was our 2nd stay. Same Cabin both times.
Cabin is roomy and the 2 bedrooms have their own en-suite. Bed are super comfy doubles
Cabin was very clean and welcoming on arrival. Full Kitchen with large table and chairs, couch and TV, good size fridge.
Park owners are lovely people and very welcoming. Park has selection of cabins, caravans, powered sites etc.
Located just out of Colac along the Princess Highway beside the road to Coorooke.

Room was perfect for a 1-night stay in Colac, spacious room, clean, comfortable bed, block out blinds, USB charging ports in power point and so quite considering it is on the main road. We were happy to see a little 2-seater couch and a nice big smart tv, Onsite parking & right in the town centre. Nice polite staff on check in, with a simple key drop box on check out.

Good old fashioned customer service. Nothing is too much trouble, and good suggestions for local businesses and restaurants. Great location in Colac, close to everything you want to access and good value hot breakfast. Highly recommend!

The location of the motel allows us to go to various attractions nearby including those on Great Ocean road. The motel is also close to petrol station and groceries such as Woolworth, Coles, Aldi, Colac main streets etc
