The service was really helpful with our late arrival and early checkout. We had to change our arrival time on several occasions due to unforeseen circumstances, and they were patient and as helpful as you could get. Moreover, the room was warm and cosy when we arrived.

Stayed at Colac central motel on main street was great close...

Stayed at Colac central motel on main street was great close to shops. Went to La Porchetta for tea was amazing as had chicken Parm agama was cooked so well. Only had time to shop and see the lake as was on short stay overnight but will be going back to see more. Colac was a very beautiful country town beside the lake that is well worth visiting.

People were awesome and friendly.

People were awesome and friendly. Only problem was the thousands of semi-trailers travelling right through town every day...Noisy..and the animal trucks with animals on smelled...for a minute each time..they should provide a by-pass for their convenience and ours Otherwise great Excellent shopping, and browsing, entertainment. Ten pin Bowling.

We visited the Colac Botanic Gardens which overlooked Lake...

We visited the Colac Botanic Gardens which overlooked Lake Colac. It was very popular with walkers, cyclists and tourists and is very picturesque. It is possible to drive through the gates and around the grounds in a circular drive.

The staff are always friendly. We were badly let down by other accommodation cancelling on us at short notice. However, we were able to pick up a room key at Colac, go to the football in Geelong and then drive back to Colac with minimal anxiety. The bed was comfortable, the hot water good and we were back on the road early next morning.

1. Judy, the reception staff was very kind and helpful to arrange room change upon arrival for me and also lent me an umbrella upon special request. Please note you can request ground level or upper level room during online booking 2. Nice ambience and easy walking to everywhere in the Colac town

This hotel used to have crisp white sheets and felt very tidy. This trip it appears to be little tired. Still, a pleasant enough stay for one night while travelling through Colac.
