Coolum Beach has everything that you need & all close by.

Coolum Beach has everything that you need & all close by. No need for a car. Beach, shops, cafes, pub & bowling club. Wonderful shared pathways for walking & riding right alongside the beach & up to the headlands. There is also a good bus service to Noosa or further south & only 50 cents ( need cash).

Hard to make a full & fair review as there were major...

Hard to make a full & fair review as there were major renovations going on. In fairness we were told about this a before we arrived but not when I originally booked.We had the option of cancelling but being school holidays there was nothing else available. The resort is in a fabulous position,near to shops & restaurants & with wonderful ocean views.Im sure it will be fabulous when the renovations are finished next year.

Coolum beach is a good spot to stay and within easy reach of...

Coolum beach is a good spot to stay and within easy reach of other attractions on the Sunshine Coast. It has good facilities and services such as a number of cafes, shops and restaurants. The beach was great and there is also a good playground for children.

The local shops were excellent with ample choice for dining out or getting takeaways- Italian, Greek, Thai, Indian, Seafood- coffee cafes, especially the Compound, Supermarket in walking distance from our accommodation, and excellent beach and recreational areas.

A lovely long beach to swim or walk down.

A lovely long beach to swim or walk down. Lifeguards at several points on the beach and seemed very attentive. The beach was closed due to bad weather or rips for several days but guards were there to advise people. Beach across the road from shops and a camping ground also at the beach. A quieter beach than the larger towns nearby. Much enjoyed.

It is a classic family holiday beach.

It is a classic family holiday beach. Unpretentious cafes, a great beach area, a good hotel, and a playground for the kids. The main shopping strip is about a 10-15-minute walk and features a supermarket at the northern end. An industrial estate in the backblocks of Coolum has some decent supplies for home cooking. Also, check out Yandina, even if you're not keen on the ginger or nut factories. It has some interesting shops in the main street.

Extra wide bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Easy to use underground carpark. Large supermarket and liquor store just across the road. 15 mins walk down the street to the surf club and the patrolled beach. Good meals at the surf club. Also good meals at the Maleny Hotel, a 5 mins walk. Four different swimming pools to choose from at the "Coolum on the Beach" resort and all a very nice temperature. Good air con units in the lounge and bedroom.

Staff were very helpful, inparticular in assisting us changing rooms due to an issue. The room had an ocean view and balcony which was lovely of a morning having coffee watching the waves of Coolum Beach. The heated pool and spa was brilliant especially that it was winter. Location is fantastic, no need to drive anyway, restaurants, shops and and the beach is on your doorstep. Will be coming back for a little week break soon!

The property was clean and appears to have been recently renovated. Everything was nicely presented including the garden and we had everything we needed. The pool was sparkling clean but unfortunately it was too cold to swim. The property is within walking distance to Coolum beach and a Coles supermarket. The best thing about this property is the protectiveness, responsiveness and helpfulness of the host/owner.

Amazing location, amazing apartment. We stayed at The Point before, but this time we had the 3 bedroom apartment with stunning ocean views. The heated swimming pool was a hit with the kids and the beautiful secluded beach right in front is so so beautiful.
