A lovely quiet and very picturesque location in great proximity to heaps of attractions both natural and man-made. I visited Port Arthur, the Lavender Farm, UnZoo, the blowhole, several beaches and took a walk down to see the tessellated pavement, all highly recommended.

Lots to see around Eaglehawk Neck, particularly enjoyed the Tessellated pavement is just opposite the hotel. The Unzoo was a great place to visit, there is not much of a vibe in the area apart from the hotel.

Eaglehawk Neck is a great starting point and base for the Tasman Peninsula. Being a Hobart local I have had many trips to this beautiful area. Lots of picturesque walks to be had, beautiful driving scenery and of course Port Arthur Historic Site. Close by is the Penicott boat trips, always worth it! Allow a couple of days to get the most out of this area.

Amazing Destination.

Amazing Destination. If you like nature, the ocean and not a lot of people it's a MUST VISIT. There are a number of sites within a 10minute drive of Eaglehawk Neck like Tasman Arch, Blowhole, Doo'Lish food truck, Devil's Kitchen, Pirates Bay Lookout. There were also a number within easy walking distance like Dog Line, Commanders Quarters, Pirates Beach & Tesselated Stone. Eaglehawk Neck is also centrally located for all the Tasman Peninsula attractions including Port Arthur (we did the evening Ghost Tour - very fun) hikes from Fortescue Bay (we did Cape Hauey 2,100 stair steps & incredible cliff views) as well a numerous beaches and lots gorgeous sea cliffs.

It’s a little slice of heaven where the mountains greet the sea in with beaches of pure white sand and the clouds on a misty day kiss the mountain tops. Quiet and tranquil, Eaglehawk neck will make to stop and reset.

Great setting. Eaglehawk neck is a very special place. Easy access to the main sites and Port Arthur. Lovely garden with amazing wildlife to watch. Honeyeaters, rabbits and pademelons - 6 on one evening. Well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, great dining area to watch the wildlife show outside. Sally was also very accommodating and let us drop our bags early so we didn't have to leave them in the car at Port Arthur.

Staff must have been picked for friendliness, excellent service skills and quirkiness. Hotel and facilities fairly basic but presented exceptionally well. Menu basic - cooked to perfection !! Great sea views. If we return to Tasmania will stay again.

The location at Eaglehawk Neck was good and we had beds for everone in our family group. Plenty of space for everyone. The wood fire, essential for Tassie in summer!
