    Evans Head is a lovely small town with beautiful beaches and a river alongside. JK Thai for dinner was delicious. The chap in Bottlemart liquor store was super friendly and helpful, with a cool hairdo. :)

    Evans Head is a great place to stay , or in my case on this trip a great break/overnight say heading up north . Everything was in walking distance ,it 's got everything in town that you could ask for . Had dinner at the R S L this time around and the food was fantastic !

    We had to swap cabins as the one advertised as deluxe was...

    We had to swap cabins as the one advertised as deluxe was very old and in a very inconvenient spot looking at the road and sloping parking spot, only had cabin for 3 days instead of 6 as planned and paid for, girl at reception did her best, very helpful., good food at the RSL.

    Evans Head is such a beautiful destination.. and I will be...

    Evans Head is such a beautiful destination.. and I will be visiting again soon… Beautiful long stretch of beaches.. The local co-op has beautiful fresh seafood caught daily. I love how the streets and parklands are kept so pristine. I feel other councils could take a leaf out of the local council book. Evans Head is truly the perfect destination to stay , play and enjoy.

    Friendly, great dining.

    Friendly, great dining. The Fish Co-op has great fresh and cooked seafood, The Sandpit Cafe at Surf Lifesaving Club does great breakfast as does Stray and Riverside Cafe. Try RSL for dinner, awesome salmon! Numerous fishing spots, beach or river and various walks and lookouts. Great for kayaking, paddle boarding or surfing. Tidy, quiet town. Beautiful place.

    We had a lovely stay at Evans head, the cabin was very...

    We had a lovely stay at Evans head, the cabin was very modern and had a wonderful outlook of the river mouth. Did you find that perhaps it was a little bit over priced for what we got. It was great being able to have the outdoor area including a barbecue to cook on as there was no Avenue in the cabin. Would recommend
