Fabulous area, with so much to do = a bit sad there are not more dog friendly beaches, although I understand some dog owners do not clean up after their pets Little Mali cafe was fabulous and great service with amazing food Loved that my dog could go into shopping malls and most stores, even though in some I had to carry him - but I loved being able to take him with me everywhere

The beaches, the weather, the shopping, the parks...What is not to love about the Gold Coast. We attended GC500, the event was organised well and heaps of vendors so the queues were not overly long. Currently there are 'cost of living' travel so all busses and trams just 50c, it was amazing, we bussed and trammed everywhere and it cost us less than $10 for 7 days.

Always a great place for week's relaxation but not all parts...

Always a great place for week's relaxation but not all parts are the same. Some are quiet and family friendly, others are all about the "experience". Burleigh Heads seems to be a good starting experience. Everything you need is at your doorstep. You don't need to cook, if you don't want to, you don't need to travel far for a varied cuisine. And, if you do get "itchy feet" there is no need to rent a car (unless you want o go up into the mountains). Translink's 50 cents for 2 hrs and $1 all daty travel tickets will even get you into Brisbane. And the Light Rail is being extended from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads; How good is that!

Location was good, about a 5 minute walk to the Florida Gardens tram stop (chose not to hire a car for the trip). Visited for the Gold Coast Marathon weekend so the spa bath in the room was handy after the marathon. Close to shared walking/e-bike/bike path junction near the Langham Hotel which made walking up to Surfers Paradise or down to Broadbeach easy. Property kept me informed with check-in and check-out information via text.

Great hotel. Great location and great rooms. It was new years so the noise was to be expected from the club down next door. Not bothered by that. Great value. It was $500 cheaper than all the others plus some for the 3 nights.
