An amazing experience to stay at JW Marriott. The staff was very courteous and caring. Rooms were very nice and had great views. The best part was the breakfast at Citrique which has one of the most elaborate spreads that I had seen. Lots of options for vegetarian as well. And desserts that were quite delicious. The pool area is also very nice and cozy. Lots of lounging chair. They even have a large heated pool and a heated jacuzzi. Don't miss them if you are there.

We had a kitchenette which is great, because even the nearby woolworths is super expensive. We had a nice meal at the Local Tavern for a reasonable price. Cafe No.1 in Hanlon Street had the best food and coffee. If you are a schoolie, this place is probably perfect and perhaps the only one you can afford if you want to be near Cavill Avenue and your parents can lend you some money.

Very nice beaches with gold sand, the beaches are flat, not going down sharply so it's safe to swim. The weather is very comfortable in December thanks to the win from beaches and river. There are lots of green area surrounding, it makes the weather is not too hot.

The Gold Coast is a great place to visit with young or old families. There are plenty of theme parks and attractions to visit within 1hr drive of Surfers paradise. We'd recommend allowing 7 to 10 days overall for your stay.. depending on what you want to go and see. We had a big group of 15 people ranging from 15yrs to 63yrs and enjoyed visiting 3 out of the 4 main theme parks. We also traveled to the Sunshine coast as part of our stay so our days were really packed with things to do. If you can, try have a down day with nothing planned between visiting main attractions, when you are traveling with large groups it can be tiring having things to do every day. We reserved "in between" days for shopping, surfing and nature walks.

I once lived in Miami and this was a deja vu experience. If you had kids or lived somewhere without beaches, it'd be a great destination. And the 50 cent transit fares are great! The hinterlands are beautiful, as is Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Our stay was for a family get together for Christmas, 50 of us. Loved convenience to other facilities, e.g. surf club and river. We ate breakfast every morning at surf club, dinner there twice. Used uber for dinner two nights, Kin Pin and Collective, both great eateries. Would avoid too many e-scooters and bikes on boardwalk.

The apartment was exceptional with new and modern gadgets. The bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and laundry were all exceptional and comfortable for my family. Ben is an awesome host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Will definitely be staying at Narrowneck Court on our next visit to Gold Coast. The apartments are located in a very convenient location for families and kids, right next to the beach. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Thank you for your awesome hospitality Jodi and Ben.

Stayed in the sub penthouse on the 55th floor with awesome views of the ocean and surrounding Gold Coast. Great size apartment with open plan living. First time to the Q1 and will be going back for another stay. Don't know what the other apartments are like, but I can only judge the one I stayed at. The staff were very helpful and friendly with a smile and great manners. Would definitely recommend the Q1 for a holiday stop over anytime. Mostly 5 star but the beds are a bit hard, but the rest was great.

This is an amazing hotel, facilities were clean and beautiful, staff all friendly and helpful. TV was huge in my room and bed so comfortable. I love love love this hotel. And so close - just next door to the airport means I was able to sleep a little later before my very early flight. I have family who live down the other end of Gold Coast so really only needed the room for the final night - after looking on the internet I made sure i was there at 2pm for check in and I was not disappointed.
