The facilities were excellent. The room was well arranged. Rod was very helpful. Rod helped us with the tour of Dandenong Ranges as we didn't have our car. Rod also dropped us back at the train station. Excellent stay.

We stayed in the Victorian Suite. The room was large and the king sized bed was comfortable. The room was equipped with a mini bar fridge, microwave, toaster and a kettle. Breakfast was supplied for in room self preparation - toast, cereal, coffee, tea, juice and a local spring water which was a nice touch. Location is great being metres away from the main strip in Olinda.

I like that our room is on the ground floor so it is easy for us to load and unload our luggage. And our view for the backyard, it was perfect. There was a pond with ducks swimming. The hotel is also cleaned. You can do laundry too in a designated area. It's convenient. Ample parking space as well.

    Beautiful walks, birdlife is superb(we even saw a lyrebird), and encountered a wombat several times. Weather ranged from sunny, heavy rain, fog and mist but the forest and walk to the Falls were incredible.

    Taken on face value. Looked to be a quiet location. Terrible roads. Rude guests blocking access to carpark to unload luggage. I was in a room next to some Bollywood celebration. No staff. Very dissappointed

    Kalorama and the Dandenong Ranges are gorgeous and a serene...

    Kalorama and the Dandenong Ranges are gorgeous and a serene place away from the city but close enough for a break. Great for exercising in the Nature. It has easy access even for those who not drive. I went there by train (Mooroolbark or Lilydale Station) and took an inexpensive Uber ride to my hotel. Uber and Uber Eats are available in the region.

    I found the staff to be friendly although the first gentlemen I encountered spoke a bit to quickly for me. They should change their advertising in line with the change, of business name. Maybe get some one to steam clean the carpets? It looks like they could use a bit of brightening up. Again do something about their advertising, We had trouble finding the place due to wrong signage

    House is set amongst trees and bushes with stunning views right in front of the deck - peaceful and head clearing to sit on the deck looking out. Beautiful crimson rosella parrots visit in the morning to get their daily feed. The house is beautifully adorned and clean in all areas and rooms, beds very comfortable and bedroom sizes decent, with lots of space and room in the lounge area. The only setback was the wi-fi which was slow to receive and send out from inside the house, but I worked out that you had to go outside on the deck to get a better reception for wi-fi.

    The inside sewerage smell throughout our stay was just a treat. The view was great. The house is a little run down and need of renovation. Some of the outdoor floorboards need replacing and wouldn’t be surprised if someone fell through eventually. Burn off from the next door neighbour was great, but not for those with asthma. The cleaning fee is excessive, considering the cleaners don’t really clean before you arrive. Need to consider putting in an on suite in main bedroom.

    The villa is comfortable, spacious and very thoughtfully equipped. Highlights were the balcony with a beautiful forest view, and visiting cockatoos and lorikeets; the pool table that entertained the whole family, and the bbq and fire pit area for cosy alfresco evenings. Kalorama park is a short walk away, for a daily forest dog walk. We visited a few local attractions but our favourite time was spent relaxing together at the villa.

    We were meant to grt a genius upgrade, but due to the hotel not having a lift( I am on crutches) we were unable to stay i room upstairs. The room provided, lights only half worked. TV was terrible picture & reception. Had to crawl on the floor to plug kettle in. Bathroom was way to small for good access on crutches. Will not be back. Didnt like anything!

    Your staff at reception and those i came in contact with were so friendly, accommodating and are a wonderful asset to your company. Check in quick. Well done to your housekeeping staff - Room was spotless. Amenities wonderful. Wonderful view. So happy with my stay at your hotel. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend to friends and family. 5 stars !!

    Location was awesome, Kalorama is only a very short drive out from Olinda. Surrounded by stunning nature, beautiful natural gardens, coupled with the quaint and quirky layout and decor of the home it was cosy, inviting, and gave a warm homely feeling that instantly made us feel at ease.
