A beautifully located area of the Barossa Valley.
A beautifully located area of the Barossa Valley. A very green and clean and very inviting "township'. It is very central and nestled amongst the many wineries and tourist attractions of this wonderful region of South Australia. We loved going to all the wineries and relaxing and trying the many wine varieties. The gin distillery was amazing. Marananga is close to wineries. having a car to get around...
Marananga is close to wineries. having a car to get around helps, as you can visit any winery you like, when it suits you. The Barossa is very easy to navigate. It is close to Tanunda, which has lots of shops and some very good restaurants, l918 and Ferment Asian, both well worth a visit. Lucy's house is a lovely historical cottage cental to all Marananga wineries. Modern bathroom with underfloor heating, exceptional breakfast including farm fresh eggs and Barossa bacon. Great location with Nelson the Labrador and several happy chooks making it feel like a relaxing farm stay. Steve is very friendly and an exceptional host. So clean, so quiet and little kitchenette always well equipped. So many options for brekky - very generous. Location is perfect - nestled between a small batch single vineyard cellar door and a distillery on a famous road in the middle of the Barossa.
