Sharon was a terrific host, very welcoming. We had 2 apartments and both were very well laid out, comfortable beds and fabulous bathrooms! We only had one night, wished we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

The views in this property are the best I have seen In over twenty years of staying in Merimbula. The hosts were so lovely and ensured everything was perfect for us. I never have stayed somewhere that I never wanted to leave and just relax and take in the views.

Hillcrest is set in a beautiful location with the most amazing views. The facilities are great, with a pool, tennis courts, washing machines. The rooms were beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. I would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

    I think Merimbula is a hidden gem.

    I think Merimbula is a hidden gem. Why go to Noosa when you have Merimbula. We are not 'beach' people but loved the views and the walks on the sand. The scenery is to die for. The Drive in from Canberra and out towards Melbourne was filled with beauty. We were able to participate in our 'thing' which is Ballroom Dancing which is held fortnightly at the Saphire Club. All welcome.

    The beautiful beaches and surrounds with plenty of convenient facilities for shopping and dining. We especially enjoyeda visitto the RSL! The service was always friendly and helpful, would be great if some of the cafes stayed open a bit longer. The driving around has certainly got busier especially with the caravans looking for parking.

    We live Merimbula and have visited many times.

    We live Merimbula and have visited many times. Great beaches. Whale watching is amazing (June to October). Surrounding bush and national parks are perfect for hiking. A couple of great golf courses. Lots of lovely restaurants for some good food and wine. Close to Pambula, Pambula Beach and Tathra which are all lovely places to visit.

    Nice quiet town walking distance to every thing.

    Nice quiet town walking distance to every thing. Big Woolworth and Aldi for groceries Lots of small boutiques Lovely board walk with coffee shop at the end. Two big clubs. Good for fishing. Short drive to Pambula and Tura Beach and Bega and Eden. Spent 10 days in Merimbula and was busy exploring every day.

    Regular visitors to Merimbula.

    Regular visitors to Merimbula. It's a lovely place to visit any time of the year. Plenty of places to eat and some nice shops to browse. Especially good for families with children in Summer with lovely beaches and indoor bowling and games arcade and Magic Mountain (closed in Winter)

    Beaches are great and you can find wet weather activities...

    Beaches are great and you can find wet weather activities such as Cinema and Top Fun. Fishing good, nice restaurant and Aquarium worth a visit. Magic Mountain also a treat for all the family. Walking around the lake and having a coffee at local Cafe was also a treat.

    We stopped on our honeymoon roadtrip and loved our bedroom which had an amazing view over Merimbula and a parking space right outside the room. It was a short drive down to the centre where a few nice restaurants and shops are. The pool is great, we had a family of kangaroos sit with us and stare the whole time, it was amazing swimming with this view. We came back at night to gaze at the stars with a drink. There was a mini bar in the room which was nicely stocked and you could have breakfast on the mini balcony with the view.

    Albacore Apartments is a great place to stay. Located just as you head into the Town centre. The Town is walking distances away. All rooms have waterfront views. The Merimbula Boardwalk is just around the corner, or you can walk back over the bridge and head to Merimbula beach. There is even a little coffee shop located on the foreshore.

    We stayed in a luxury apartment on the ground floor. Newly renovated it was a stunning cosy treat to stay in. With great views of merimbulas Lake and well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. This is our second time staying at Sails and Rhys the host has done it again.

    Our stay in Merimbula was ten times better because our accommodation was amazing. It was so relaxing to stay in a cabin that was spacious, clean and had access to awesome facilities. The park had everything we wanted and more and the staff were lovely.
