We had 4 nights at our beautiful house.

We had 4 nights at our beautiful house. That allowed us to visit a number of rainforests, creeks and waterfalls which are in close proximity to Mission Beach. We prefer creeks and waterfalls to reef trips and their are so many to explore such as Murray Falls and Alligators Nest up near Tully, Lacey's Creek near town, Josephine Falls about an 1 or so draive away and South Mission and Bingil Bay. The bars and restaurants in the village are amazing and very friendly and if you want to make your own food - the Woolies at Wongaling Beach was way cheaper than our local Woolies in inner city Brisbane.

Parking was only issue.

Parking was only issue. We had to park on street as no spaces left. I was celebrant for a wedding at wongaling beach. Had meal at Mission beach resort prompt service but short on gluten-free choices as husband coeliac. Coffee spots limited we walked 12km to get coffee from wongaling beach to south mission beach. Road works an issue at Mission beach.

Mission Beach is having a huge upgrade in the CBD.

Mission Beach is having a huge upgrade in the CBD. Avoid here until it is completed if you want to avoid pedestrian access issues to shops, beach, etc. Underground drainage works throughout town are behind schedule, the shop owners are so patient.

Nicely positioned in front of the beach.

Nicely positioned in front of the beach. Hotel is having a Refurbishment between September and December, which is needed. Room was large and spacious with a balcony. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom with a good pressure shower. Very clean, lovely white sheets and towels.

Mission Beach is a stunning, boutique town with stunning...

Mission Beach is a stunning, boutique town with stunning beaches and proximity to so much exploring. It has fabulous restaurants, cafes and a few little boutiques and galleries. Whilst there was some council work going on during our stay, we recognise there is never a good time to schedule this and it didn’t impact our use of local businesses or experience of the region.

During our visit there were major road and pipeline works,...

During our visit there were major road and pipeline works, making it difficult to walk down the Main Street. This impacted the overall experience as some shops/restaurants were closed (either temporarily or permanently) and these works have apparently taken 12 months already and are set to continue for another 6 months. The whole town is not looking at its best, which is disappointing for tourists and locals alike.

We loved that each room was like your own little beach shack in a tropical garden and little paths to each room. Had a Bali feel to it. Very good communal cooking area with everything needed to prepare and eat as in pans, crockery and cutlery. Perfect location to everything. Even though there were massive road works going on in the street there was very little sound heard from our room. We would definitely stay here if we return to mission beach. We were made to feel very welcome.

Cute room. However, we had to climb through scaffolding to get to our room as it surrounded the whole building. Wanted to have a bath but the bath tub was pealing off. Nice little room once you get over the whole ducking and weaving through the scaffolding, parking wasn't great. I definitely think it is overpriced for what it is. I wont be returning to mission beach in a hurry, the roadworks are an absolute nightmare, I feel sorry for the businesses.

brilliant location and meticulously maintained grounds. we had a beachfront villa with every comfort. very comfy king bed and lots of kitchen gear so we were more than happy to self cater. beautiful area for walks and sunrises and close to shops for supplies. we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. managers most helpful, bubbly friendly and willing to assist with any query.
