I loved Jephson! I stayed here for 5 days and would happily have stayed more. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. Toowong is actually a great option, about 15-20 minutes on the bus or train to the centre or about half an hour on the ferry. Toowong village shopping centre is 5 minutes walk and has loads of infrastructure, there's a street full of good Asian restaurants and coffee shops between the station/bus stop and the hotel and KatsuCo next to the hotel is excellent. It's worth taking the public transport to take advantage of the significantly better price.

Immaculate property; very comfortable; high quality furnishings and provisions (such as pool towels even though there is no pool, which was great for us going to Southbank pools); managed professionally. There is airconditioning in the living area, but not in the two bedrooms. We were there during a very hot week and we managed ok with just the one aircon plus the ceiling fans in the bedrooms

Location was prefect. Close to shopping centre, restaurants, train and bus stations. Enjoyed my stay there. Staff Alex was a great help to me and my wife. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Brisbane.

The neighborhood was pretty good and quiet The house super clean. The kitchen well equipped. Internet superfast. The room with ceiling fan, good lights, proper wardrobe, nice desk and comfortable bed with clean linens.

Not happy! My only stipulation was a private bathroom!

Not happy! My only stipulation was a private bathroom! EVERYTHING WAS SHARED! The room had not seen a duster or vacuum cleaner for a very long time. And as for the communal bathroom. Well, only the bath looked clean- the rest was so grungy (old used soaps left in the soapdishes, dirty bath and basin mats on the floor.) I cleaned the toilet seat with sanitiser before using it each time because, judging by the overflowing bin with anti-fungal powder containers in as well as in the basin drawers, I was NOT assured by the hygiene standard. The advert also did not mention the myriad of very steep steps to access off the street that is its address and the very steep driveway off the back of the house if you need to bring luggage down. Fellow lodgers were ok except for a bitey dog that felt the need to bark viciously every time it entered the front door which was right by our window (including in the middle of the night. Long Black hairs in the bed (we are grey and clipped short), and old blood droplets on the duvet cover. All in all, not impressed and I would like a refund.

Perfect with shopping centre big enough for Kmart, target and another hundred stires and enough parking plus fast food. Less hassle than larger places like Indooroopilly and van often walk or 50c bus there

My whole experience was awesome from the huge welcome a great compliment to my host, who showed me where everything was located to extra towels if needed. The bed was huge cl4an linen and so very comfortable.
