Fantastic, beautiful studio nestled among the rainforest. Woke up to a chorus of wonderful bird songs out the window and ate breakfast outside looking right into the rainforest. Our host, Susan, left us great directions for finding the spot and was very helpful in the morning with suggestions of local attractions. The studio apartment is quite large with plenty of space for work and sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped and we made our meals there (which can be important as there are not many restaurants open for dinner in Kuranda).

Beautiful and large apartment surrounded by the jungle! All the amenities one could ask for. Sue and Patrick are extraordinary Hosts. We saw and heard many animals in the garden and were greeted by Fritz (cockatoo) with a friendly “Hello”. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The warm and friendly welcome from the staff made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. We especially enjoyed the spectacular location. We loved seeing the free roaming animals, plus the visits from the ponies and cows to our campfire in the evening!

We could arrive late at night and the check in was easy even though there was noone at the front desk yet. We had received a message with all the required information. We found a large room, clean and comfortable. Everything was higher than expected. We felt sad about only staying one night in Cairns

A very pleasant out look onto a bit of rainforest.

A very pleasant out look onto a bit of rainforest. Clean and modern and well separate from the tavern which was also nice. The cook had a strong control and was very strict on her hours of cooking. We selected Speewah as it was only half hour away from airport.
