Beautiful hotel, very original in conception. Wonderful location, just on the old Macquarie wharf at Hobart's tourist port. Excellent organization and careful management by the hotel's team. Closely linked to the history of the city of Hobart, whose colourful characters are finely sketched on the doors of the rooms. Excellent food at the "Old Wharf Restaurant" and very fine selection of Tasmanian gins, whiskies and vodkas at the "Evolve Spirits" bar. Congratulations.

The staff behind reception were exceptional. Even escorted us to our room on the top floor. Spotless rooms, huge comfy bed and lots of little extras. We had a few things from the mini bar, it was very reasonable. We also love The Long Bar! This is my favourite hotel.

Our stay at this lovely and charming hotel was made exceptional by the attention that was given to us by Marc and his capable team. Being greeted by a relaxing cup of tea in the morning room after a long, busy day was just the perfect beginning to our stay. The food was amazing with the quality of the local Tassie produce shining through, and the views - be it from our room or the gorgeous conservatory were simply stunning. The breakfast was included in the room cost and we appreciated the array of delicious options. The turn-down service was a special touch and my husband and I felt pampered and relaxed during our entire stay. A special mention of Marc - he went the extra mile with our requests and made us feel special. We wouldn't hesitate to come back here - especially because of the care extended to us.

Fabulous BNB with private access and added extras from...

Fabulous BNB with private access and added extras from lovely hosts. Very near Hobart, Sandy Bay and Kingston areas. Good beach nearby. The breakfast supplies were excellent. There was a washing machine and dryer to make use of and a lovely quiet garden area to sit and enjoy the excellent wine our host left for us. We were so pleased with our stay here and could have stayed much longer if time had allowed on our tour of Tasmania.
