We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, room was spotless and comfortable. Staff is helpful and friendly. Beautiful location, all is very well maintained. The views towards the river from the shady balcony are lovely. Shame there aren’t any loungers (neither on the balcony nor in the garden). We also had dinner, breakfast and did wine tasting; all were excellent! Thank you!

Perfect for our occasion, 6 friends wanting to get away. Was clean, comfortable, close to restaurants, wineries etc facilities were great, staff friendly and accommodating, apartment was spacious, with great views of the golf course with kangaroos visiting us all through the day.

    Sandalford Vineyard restaurant degustation menu with matched wines were exceptional. The wine tasting we did before the meal was exceptional with some unusual wines offered and which we thought was good value for money. A very experienced person served us who new his product and was happy to answer questions and helped us to choose a selection of wines that suited our tastes.

    We stayed overnight on a Sunday night and according to their websites, many of the cafes and restaurants were either closed on a Monday or not open for breakfast. Even The Colony at Mandoon's website said they were not open on a Monday until 10am (but in fact they were open well before that). They don't answer their phones over the weekend, so you are totally relying on website information without knowing whether it has been updated. It would be worthwhile phoning the cafes the previous week to ensure they will be open on Monday morning as I cannot confirm or deny whether they were open or not.

    Nice location with the river and vineyards so close. Staff at Reception were friendly and checking-in was a breeze. Secure parking was good and walking to the main building/restaurant from the hotel rooms and vice versa was safe and easy with a lit-up walkway at night.

    I decided to change my hotel from Perth city to this beautiful estate less than three weeks before my trip, and I'm so glad I did! The location is stunning, peaceful, and impeccably clean. I highly recommend staying here!
