We had the perfect stay at South Gap hotel. I was slightly nervous of the noise levels looking at previous reviews, but with an ocean view room this wasn’t a problem for us at all. The rooms were made up everyday, the bed was huge and comfy and we loved our sundowners on the balcony! The food and drinks were also great. Really can’t fault our stay.

The property is VERY clean. Well kept! Staff is very friendly and helpful. They all talk to you with a smile .They always ask if everything is going on fine. Rooms were well kept. The property is ideally located on a beautiful beach and has great access to the very safe and welcoming area of St Lawrence Gap where you can really get involved in the local nightlife. The suites were immaculately clean and extremely well appointed. All 4 restaurants serve great quality food from fine dining to more beach bar fare available. The biggest stand out feature of this hotel though are it’s staff who cannot do enough for you during your stay. Every single member of staff from Housekeeping to the bar staff to the guys that look after the beach like Gino are exceptional. Our experience ambassadors Abigail and Shiloh were absolutely first class and arranged a number of trips, reservations and transport for us during our stay with consummate professionalism. Big thanks also to Dwayne, Ronaldo, Karlos and Darrien who are exceptional bar staff and genuinely nice guys. You absolutely cannot go wrong staying here. We were here for 2 weeks and has been the only hotel in our experience where we were genuinely sorry to leave by the end of the holiday.

I came with my best friend to celebrate our birthdays and from the second we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and cared for. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well air conditioned. Beautiful location right on the beach with two pools/hot tubs and a restaurant/bar overlooking the ocean. There is a variety store across the street and roti shop right next door or you can take a short walk to Oistins where you can find tons of restaurants, fast food and a grocery store. The area is super safe and we felt extremely comfortable walking around and taking public transport. It’s also a very short drive to the St. Lawrence gap for Barbados nightlife. We really appreciate how patient and kind every staff member was with our endless questions, requests and direction inquiries. The hotel upgraded our suite upon arrival after hearing that it was our birthdays and even surprised us with a bottle of wine which was such a sweet gesture. Super chill vibe here so great for couples or families who want something a little bit more laid back and not rowdy.
