Our self tour was 3 nights Bruges, 2 nights Brussels.

Our self tour was 3 nights Bruges, 2 nights Brussels. We packed in Antwerp, Ghent and Ypres (if interested in WW1 - tour operators such as Quasimodo). Use the train service - so easy and much better than UK. Bruges is stunning. Several museums are closed on Mondays. Think about buying a Musea Brugge Card €33.

Bruges is stunning, everything can be seen either on foot or by river boat which was a great 30mins to spend seeing the city from a different view point, reasonably priced for a popular destination, great shops and food choices, the only thing they do not eat late at night so most restaurants are closed down by 10pm.If you are looking for a great city break look no further than Bruges.

Bruges was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe.

Bruges was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe. Communication for English speakers is easy because everyone appears to speak English as well as other languages. The old town is spotless and well preserved and the Bruges card for multiple museum entry is good value. Restaurants are on the expensive side for the Aussie dollar but the staff make up for that with their friendly approach. We hired an e-bike and rode to the Netherlands for a day trip! Bruges lives up to the photos!

The olde world nature of the town and its ambience is first class. It is a must do visit for anyone's travelling bucket list. We particularly enjoyed the Historium experience located right on the Marketplace.

Liked the walking tour of Bruges (excellent brochure available from the Tourist Information Centre) and the Visit Bruges app. Enjoyed a cruise on a canal boat, which provides a perspective on the town not available when walking. Loved the many grand old buildings. Autumn seems to be a good time to visit; I can imagine the crowds of tourists in the summer time would be overwhelming and make for an unpleasant experience.

The city is like a fairy tale.

The city is like a fairy tale. Everywhere you look, every street you walk is beautiful. Good restaurants. Great museums. Start by a boat tour and then visit the same places on foot. I highly recommend to rent a bike and in just one day you would have visited the whole town.

Brilliant friendly hotel in the heart of the historic town. Very friendly staff. We had the club room, which was really comfortable and spacious. The bed was excellent and super comfortable. The toilet is separate, and the bathroom is well equipped. There is a lovely resand bar area downstairs. Bruges is stunning 😍 and the hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance from the historic centre for visiting this stunning place. We also had a car and the hotel offers great parking facilities. Absolutely recommend this beautiful hotel.

The rooms were decorated impeccably and the hotel bar had a great selection of drinks with a gorgeous Art Deco sitting room. The staff were friendly and attentive. They provided some great advice on how to get the most from our time in Bruges. The location of the hotel is superb. Right next everything in the city centre while being just enough off of the main roads that it provides a tranquil space to pause before heading back out. The elegant Christmas decorations were the icing on top.

The host Lyn was so welcoming and greeted us with a glass of bubbly on the sun terrace. She took the time to tell us what to explore in Bruges. The hotel is like something from a fairy Tail right on the canal. Breakfast is so lovely. There is nothing not to like about this hotel we will definitely be staying again this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The location is perfect to explore Bruges

A great place where to sleep! We stayed one night in the room and we had a great time. Johannes, the owner, is very kind and available. He gave us many information and tips to enjoy Bruges the best. The room is clean and simple, it has everything you need to spend a comfortable night/s. The position is perfect, just 5 minutes walk from the city centre. I felt very safe and I totally recommend it!

The hotel's location is fantastic - right in the middle of the historic centre and looking over the water. The hotel interiors are beautiful - including the bedrooms - and if we return to Bruges we wouldn't stay anywhere else
