A beautiful accommodation with lots of attention to detail. The young owners were helpful and happy to show us everything. The room was spacious and very nicely furnished, good breakfast and liked the conservatory with an honesty bar. Unfortunately we were only passing through on the Eurovelo 3 on the way to Paris but would love to come back for a longer stay.

It is a very nice old house with interesting local history ( a family of doctors lived there a hundred years ago). The reception at night was easy with a code. Very comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast in the morning. Easy and safe parking and proximity to some nice restaurants.

The people were very sweet and accommodating. They offered local recommendations for walks in the area and you get to taste a complementary Chimay! The roulotte and the bed are super comfortable! The breakfast was delicious. They have a cute book where you can write about your experience and they add your photo to it. All in all a great experience! It's a unique stay, it's very rural with views of a meadow and it smelled of wood inside.

We only stayed one night, as a stopover.

We only stayed one night, as a stopover. Afterward, we stayed in Signy Le Petit with a cycling and hiking group. Chimay: abbey = city, Rocroi (fortified town) and St. Michel Abbey are definitely worth a visit. Cycling is wonderful along quiet roads.

Momignies is particularly interesting as a base for various hikes through forests and valleys, and nature parks. Also of interest are the cycling routes on old railway lines that connect villages and towns (e.g., Chimay).
