The owner welcomed us personally. He had reserved and paid for us a parking space in the city parking lot, right next to the apartment. The apartment is spacious, perfect for 3 people. Very clean and tidy. There is oil, salt, sugar in the kitchen. The host has also provided guests with good coffee to make in the coffee machine. The apartment is in a good location, right next to the old town. The beds are comfortable, everything was as promised.

Unexpectedly lively town, with very vivid atmosphere.

Unexpectedly lively town, with very vivid atmosphere. A lot of young people, children on bikes, cafes. The river is gorgeous. The covered bridge is a real masterpiece. The old town is adjacent to the town center and everything is close at hand. Lovech was actually not our main point of interest - we were on a small trip to see the Krushuna waterfalls and the Devetashka cave. So, we used Lovech only to sleep and relax. We will definitely visit again, to explore in more depth.

Don’t let cheap hotels in Lovech put you off from visiting. There is a lot to see there. Lesson learn DON’T BOOK CHEAP HOTEL. Didn’t expect cigarette smell to be still a problem, though it is 21st of centenary after all, however not this side of the world🥲

it is a tiny little town that used to be a center and today is an abandoned, a bit ghostly place: you walk around and you see that there was culture and life in the past and today there are no people to keep and develop its past glory.

A city very fancy, with old streets and houses from stone,...

A city very fancy, with old streets and houses from stone, many good restaturants, and an interesting covered bridge with souvenir shops. Old fortress is protecting all city, togheter with the statue of the country hero Vasil Levski. Spectacular caves and waterfalls are near of city, and monastery Troyan is also close.

Lovech is a pleasant town which is worth a few days visit.

Lovech is a pleasant town which is worth a few days visit. There are many things to see: the old fortress, the old town Varosha, the old covered bridge over the Osam river, the large city park on a hill overlooking the town, the local museums. Lovech is a good basis to explore the beautiful surroundings and the nature landmarks like Devetaska Cave, Kurshuna nature park and waterfalls. As well, Lovech is a good transit point before/after crossing the Troyan pass.
