Very comfortable rooms, parking free, located in the centre of Pleven, lots of restaurants close and no noise during the night. Staff professional, multilingual speaking, especially Mrs Lily that speaks a perfect Italian and she's alwasy kind with Splendid's customers. For sure I'll return back to be guested of this hotel.

The receptionists and hotel manager were polite and welcoming answering any questions! Both times we stayed in this hotel we arrived at lunchtime and they let us check-in early after I gave them only few hours notice in advance of my arrival time! The hotel boasts an quiet and peaceful location, within easy walking distance of superb restaurant and the picturesque Park Kaylaka. There was no noise in the rooms, the air-conditioning worked perfectly and beds were comfortable so we had a very good night sleep. Free parking in front of the hotel. The rooms were tastefully decorated especially the twin room that we stayed the first night. There were fridge, toiletries and towels provided in the room.

Huge room, very clean and close to the city centre. Parking outside on the street next to the hotel. Breakfast for an extra 10lev pp was chosen from a menu. The staff were quick to deal with an issue in the room and upgraded us.

Very beautiful and amazing. The place is wonderful, beautiful, cozy and very luxurious. It is located in the city center, very good location. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. The host was too nice and since we arrived late, he welcomed us and accommodated us with a huge smile. The room was clean and had everything needed when traveling hairdryer, iron, refrigerator, microwave. The location is very quiet and there is a large supermarket nearby. Many thanks to Evgeni.

These apartments are just wonderful for individual guests or for the couple. Spacious studio with dining space. The design is super pretty. A lot of light, a very comfortable bathroom. Great kitchen with loads of kitchenware. There are a kettle, a microwave, a fridge, everything you may need. Great for staying in the city, as well as for overnight while traveling!

A lovely town for a one night stop over on my Bulgarian road trip. I would have liked to stay longer just for the hotel, The Theatre Hotel,, which was wonderful. If I had had more time, I would have stayed another night so I could have explored the surrounding area. The town centre was small enough to explore in a day. A large number of restaurants to choose from and I chose the Kahane Food Club, recommended by my hotel manager, which was exceptional. My only criticism is the fact that smoking is still allowed and albeit in a separate section it stills comes into the non-smoking area. It also appears, across Bulgaria, that the smokers get the best areas of the restaurants to dine. My only problem was that I arrived in the late afternoon and needed to head off in the morning but I did push that out as late as I could.

Kaylaka park was lovely .

Kaylaka park was lovely . We went in the little zoo for 2 levs which is about 60p . The bears were wonderful to see . Lots of cafes in the park and restaurants if you get hungry . Went out to see bat caves about a hr away , they were huge and interesting . There were waterfalls near by but it was such a wet day we didn’t get chance to see them . The town centre is lovely with its colourful buildings and fountains , these light up at night into beautiful colours . Again plenty of outdoor restaurants and shopping areas . Quite cheap to eat out compared to many European countries .

Amazing small town, especially during holidays is so full of lovely people, so much laughter and cheer that it warms your heart. Great cafes and restaurants, but also offers a great outdoor activities- park Kailaka, Skobelev park and also if you are up for some historical sightseeing go visit the Panorama.

Pleven is beautiful city and it worth a visit.

Pleven is beautiful city and it worth a visit. Positive people, and a lot of history. You can visit local wineries, also the museum of wine, The Pleven Panorama is awesome history landmark and its a must to visit when you are in town. City has numerous great restaurants, bars and night clubs for entertainment, also handful of pools for the summer fun, and awesome nature park called Kaylaka. PLeven for sure will not disappoint you.

Pleven can pleasantly surprise anyone who has not visited it...

Pleven can pleasantly surprise anyone who has not visited it. Those who love museums and historical monuments could take 2 days to explore all that is in the city. The Pleven panorama is impressive, especially considering when it was done (1977). Kaylaka Park is great - well worth the walk. Storgosia Fortress is interesting, but only for those who like "climbing old forts". Downtown also offers pretty good places to walk - the city garden is well-kept, and the central part is nice. The river is neglected and quite a few places are crying out for mowing, but overall the destination is worth it. There are quite a few interesting sites nearby such as the Devetashka Cave and the Krushun waterfalls, you can also go to Belene or Nikopol. In the evenings there is somewhere to go out to a bar, and there are other night spots in town.

Unless you enjoy fountains and some nice church architecture...

Unless you enjoy fountains and some nice church architecture then there isn't much to see, but these two are spectacular. It's a nice stop off for a night between Bucarest and Sofia. There's plenty resturants around the center and it's east to walk around.

Hotel is centrally located and offers great rooms. Comfortable beds, amazing bath very considerate service overall, breakfast was above average for smaller hotels. Room quality / general areas was excellent Very clean Parking available The staff were very friendly, far more so than anywhere we visited in Pleven which made the hotel stand out positively..
