The hotel is new and has everything you need. The staff were very friendly and gave us presents for Christmas and New year's Day. It's just two blocks away from the court house which was great for New Year's eve celebrations.

I liked this place. It is in the heart of the city, just 3 minutes away from Serdika. The hotel is new and the owner put a lot of effort in it. I liked the attention to the details. From the technical point the rooms are well equipped - big smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, really hot "hot water".

I did not know anything about Sofia but my companion...

I did not know anything about Sofia but my companion suggested going there. I then looked up on the internet and found many things that would be of interest to me. We went to the synagogue, the mosque, the red flat, the sofia museum, many ruins. We found places to buy food since the apartment had a full kitchen we did not to eat in restaurants all the time. But there are plenty of places to eat as well. I never felt unsafe. Many people speak English but I was also prepared with a translator on my phone. That was useful when reading signs as not many of them have English. We really enjoyed the "old world" flavor of Sofia with the streetcars whizzing by. My one regret is that I did not buy tickets to the opera or ballet in advance and they were sold out when I got there.

Sofia was a very pleasant surprise. First of all, the airport is right next to the city (and you can take the metro to get into the city, paying with your bank or credit card). The city itself, really nice. Architecture (buildings, churches, museums) quite interesting. Prices are way more friendly than West Europe! (having been on France and Germany the days before arriving to Bulgaria, it was highly welcomed!). A lot of history (which is the main reason I got there). Transport works out fine (metro, buses, trolleys and trams). Overall, a great experience and a must-see city.

From our hotel the city was well within walking distance and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful when we inquired about a particular day trip and the receptionist organised it all for us at no extra cost and they even provided a taxi to collect us from the airport on our arrival date .

Sofia, Bulgaria, is a city that offers a variety of museums and galleries, excellent restaurants and street food at very reasonable prices. Public transportation in the city is very convenient and cheap compared to other cities and very convenient from the airport to the city and back. The streets are clean and the residents are kind. The city of Sofia is highly recommended

Lovely tree lined avenues. A feeling that there is always something more to discover. Wonderful Alexandra Nevsky cathedral and roman ruins. Worth taking your time to wonder around and soak up the atmosphere.

As a Bulgarian living abroad and not from Sofia I find the location of the apartment easy to access. The self check in system is extremely convenient for late arrivals and gives no pressure to the guest. The building is quiet and I haven’t heard any noise. The apartment is freshly renovated and very clean. Location is close to underground station and in walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. The price is competitive, as for these money you could get a room in cheap hotel with questionable hygiene.

The apartment is really nice, cosy and clean. IThe kitchen is fully equipped. It is in the city center close to main attractions and metro station - 5 min walk. I really enjoyed our stay in Ayki Apartment. We appreciated especially the warm welcome of the owner and our talks about Bulgarian culture, cuisine, literature and humour. He prepared a map with useful places and advise us what Bulgarian food we need to try. He was there when we needed to ask about something. I really recommended this place.

This is one of the BEST hotel experiences we have ever had. Staff were super kind and friendly (specially Nikola who helped us calling places to see bulgarian dance show). And by thr way, as alone as we got to the hotel and made check in they upgraded us for free to higher category room.
