Hotels near San José de Chiquitos

Very nicke small town in the middle of the historic Chiquitania. Impressive old church and colonial surrounding. Several touristic offers to explore traditions and natural environment. Day trip to Santiago and Tucabaca park can be organised as well ase to San Ignacio and Concepción (wooden Jesuit churches).

A very beautiful city that maintains the essence of the Chiquitano culture. The people are very friendly, and there are a variety of activities, including many local crafts that you can see at the rest stops. The Santa Cruz de la Sierra Museum showcases the city's original location, and you can also visit the archaeological site. Be prepared, as the taxis are motorcycles, not cars, but there are plenty, and they run well.

It's a very pretty town, the church is spectacular. I didn't have time to visit the museum and the gastronomic route that they told me about at the hotel, but it definitely made me want to return with my family.
