The hotel is simple, but nice. The location is very good in a quiet and nice neighbourhoood, close to the cultural center as well as to the main access to other touristic locations. The food served in the restaurante is good too.

It is a historic city (1700) founded by Dutch immigrants which initiated a milk business community, a nice place to visit (Castrolanda). The owners and the staff are very friendly and provide an outstanding service.

Castro surprised me with its well-preserved old town center, and the Castrolanda region (a 15-minute drive from the center) with its European style, a result of Dutch colonization, featuring a wonderful full-size replica of the Dutch Woldzigt windmill.

Small but very welcoming town.

Small but very welcoming town. We liked the style of the old houses, the public squares, and the main church. I like museums, but they were closed because it was Easter week in March 2024. We had lunch in the municipality of Carambeí, at the beautiful Historical Park, with a city representing the life of the first Dutch settlers.

Morro do Cristo urgently needs enforcement; it's a great tourist spot, but this morning there was a lot of trash there. I imagine it must be a nighttime meeting place for some people who don't know what a trash can is!

A calm place, great for couples.

A calm place, great for couples. I wouldn't highly recommend it for children, as there isn't much space for them, like a playground for example. The place is very beautiful and very calm, great for those who like peace and quiet.

A small town, Castrolanda, with a world of its own, seeks to evoke the Netherlands with its windmill and the unique style of its inhabitants. It's worth a visit, especially when combined with a trip to the Carambeí Historical Park.
