A planned city with avenues that avoid traffic problems and prioritize pedestrians and cyclists. It houses an excellent state university and is located near the Paraná River, where there are beaches and fishing spots. On the downside, the region experiences excessive heat and lacks good restaurants.

The city's attractions include a visit to the power plant (though entry is not allowed) and fishing. It's far from major cities, and the nearest airport is 200km away (Araçatuba), but the roads leading to it are excellent. The city is very calm and safe, with several restaurants, mainly specializing in fish. Getting around the city depends on taxis, your own car, or a rental car.
