The city doesn't have many tourist options.

The city doesn't have many tourist options. The most interesting things we found were: - Boat trip (very cool); - Viewpoints (great view); - Cachaça distilleries; - Visit to the hydroelectric power plant (booking must be done 24 hours in advance);

A small, clean, and well-organized city with various sightseeing options, almost all focused on nature. It has several viewpoints to watch the sunrise or sunset, a reservoir with boat and kayak tours (for a fee), an ecological park, church towers within the reservoir, and a zip line over the reservoir.

Itá is a tourist town.

Itá is a tourist town. It has good restaurants, such as Império das Carnes. The zip line and the boat trip to the towers of the São Pedro church are unmissable. Like any small town, it's easy to get around.

It's worth taking a boat trip and learning a bit more about the history of Itá, also using the funicular to go to the new city of Itá. All meals were at the resort, it was very easy to get around and there's nothing to avoid during the visit.

They didn't offer payment plans on my card.

They didn't offer payment plans on my card. They sent my checkout on Sunday, and my reservation was until Monday, without giving the slightest explanation. The food isn't what it was in previous years when I was there. Due to the pandemic, we couldn't even use the pools, but it was still sold as if there was a pool, and they claimed they only received the news at the last minute. In short, I always went to Itá, but now I've lost interest.
