This location is across the street from a beach and behind it is an inlet that you can rent kayaks etc to go on. The bed was very comfortable and the loft felt spacious.

The staff was accomodating, flexible and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was very good. All we were looking for in a motel! We didn’t take any breakfast, as we had our own.

Too bad a breakfast was not really available, since most restaurants in the community were closed Sundays and Mondays. But, it was still the only hotel we've been in that had a towel warmer in the bathroom. Nice touch.

The room was huge and the beds were really large and comfortable. There was a parking space directly in front of the hotel. From the veranda there was a nice view of the river, it was a pleasant place to sit and relax.

We spent two nights in the area and we enjoyed walking on the beach, the Exploramer museum, boat excursion, and agate mine. The boat tour was a highlight. The kids got to learn about and handle crabs, a lobster, and starfish. We had icecream (twice!) at Coleurs Chocolats.

The room was basic but ok.

The room was basic but ok. However it smelled of fat from the kitchen all the time. The surroundings were torn up and bulldozed, the hiking trails were badly marked, raw and seemed to be made for ATVs. Hard to figure this place out, but it’s not a place to hike and enjoy nature.

Walks on the beach, a visit to the wind farm, a very good beachside canteen with a great poutine! A car is necessary to go shopping in Ste Anne des Monts as there are no shops in Cap Chat.

The beach, restaurants, small shops, and welcoming people...

The beach, restaurants, small shops, and welcoming people are all easy to find in a truly breathtaking setting. The sunsets are simply stunning. I recommend Pizza 132 and Valmont restaurants, and a little further away, about 15 minutes, is Canteen Chez Tom in Capucin de Cap Chat. It's worth the detour. Enjoy your visit!

Despite the rain, we had a lot of fun walking on the beach while our car charged at a public charging station. We were only able to spend half a day there, but our friends who live here have really made us want to come back! Next time, if the weather is better, we'd love to go hiking.

Wonderful and gracious hosts! They called to make dinner reservations for us and made a scrumptious rhubarb cake for us for dessert when we returned from dinner. The room was super clean along with the shared bathroom. The WiFi was much, much better than any other hotels or B&Bs we've used the past 3 months. The accordion pleated sliding door separated the guest rooms from the home area. Amazing "create your own" breakfast, so many choices along with home made jams. Host brewed coffee ready for you in the morning.

Seemed to be one of the only places with a beach access. We drove around and it looked like a lot of hotels did not have beach access.
