We came for a weekend to take the 1000 island cruise and...
We came for a weekend to take the 1000 island cruise and visit the Boldt Castle.
I was disappointed in the lack of fall colors, but were very impressed with the organization of the cruise and was very impressed with touring Boldt Castle.
There was a large of number of restaurants in the area to choose from.
Would have enjoyed going to the Royal Theater, but nothing playing while we were there.

Gananoque is a great location to visit all of the 1000...
Gananoque is a great location to visit all of the 1000 islands on the Canadian side. The town had some nice restaurants. The Old English Pub, Purple House and Grayson's at Wood View Inn. took a 5 Hour tour with City Cruises of the 100 Island with a stop at Boldens castle from the docks in town. It was fantastic. The vibe in town is very much geared to tourism. When i planned this trip I knew nothing about Gananoque, but I hit a home run.

A beautiful small town located on the beautiful Saint Lawrence River. This area offers so much to see and do. The people are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I love this place and everything about it. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Gananoque offers a lively street scene for visitors well into the evening. Lots of pubs and restaurants to dine and hang out in, do people watching and enjoy the view if you're on the water. Visitors come from all over. River cruises available at the marina. A charming and very enjoyable place to spend a night or two.

Gananoque is a spectacular area to visit and stay a while: The water, the water activities including the boat cruises; the relaxing atmosphere of the town and people there, places to walk in town, and the drive there and back on the Thousand Island Parkway - spectacular!

The area is Beautiful, lots to do and see. It was hard to find restaurants on the water, only a few and you cannot trust the reviews people all have opinions most are not accurate. We were interested in a dinner cruise, could not find any info on such.

This has to be the best B&B I have ever stayed in. My wife has some food issues at the moment and Colin went out of his way to create an excellent breakfast, which everyone enjoyed, that was also adaptable to my wife's intolerances.
The facilities were comfortable and spotlessly clean and Peter was a mine of information and highly entertaining.
This B&B is perfectly placed in a central position close to the waterfront. If ever we go to Gananoque again this is where we will stay.

Best location in Gananoque! We walked everywhere and spent time in the lovely Joel Stone park. Swimming pool was great, so nice to pop intonsauna for post swim warmup. Breakfast was so convenient and had nice variety (hard boiled eggs, sausage and egg rounds, yogurt, cereal, apples, oranges, toasts, coffee, juice). My kids loved the pancake maker! Room was small but comfortable, beds super comfy. Coffee maker, microwave, fridge.

The staff was amazing throughout our stay, especially when we asked for a late check-out at the last minute.
The staff was wonderful, allowing us to stay longer.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location and staff in Gananoque.
