Honestly, I do not know why this property is listed as a 2 star on booking- this accommodation is a solid 3 star, even 4 star in several ways! I would highly recommend Carriage Ridge Resort for a weekend getaway, or as accommodation for activities in the area. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, there is several BBQ areas, a playground, a campfire pit, a gym, an arcade with a billiard table. The indoor pool is lovely and warm in the low 80s, and the hot tub is almost too hot! Very relaxing! Our room was clean and very spacious, the kitchenette had a fridge and microwave - and a blender, toaster, and coffee maker! The property is not zoned to offer food, bit absolutely you could bring continental food items and prepare them in the room - there is even a cutting board, knives, utensils, wine glasses, etc. The bed was extremely comfy, and they provided us with a half dozen pillows, as well as additional linens. Also, we were on the first floor and had a lovely walk out patio with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the forest views! We will definitely be staying here again, and I would like to thank the staff for making us feel welcome!

It is located near the city center, next to the supermarket Foodland. Large parking lot. The building is new. Friendly hotel administrators. They settled us right away. The executive suite room consisted of two rooms, one with a kitchen counter, a comfortable sofa and a large TV, a table with a chair, in the other - a bed, a TV, an armchair, a wardrobe. Large comfortable bath, separate washbasin. There is a coffee maker, a hair dryer, an iron with an iron. Large refrigerator and microwave. There is a set of plates, glasses and spoons. The pool, although small, is deep. The water is heated, clean, warm. Outside that day it was -18. Continental breakfast: coffee, juices, sandwich sets, jam, bananas, apples, yogurt and musli. I liked the hotel

I think location is perfect as it was close to shopping, dining and not to far to travel to the Casino. Breakfast was great. Loved the room size and sleeping was comfortable. Next time we will try the pool and hottub. We were not prepared for that.

Clean , tidy and well set up! What a lovely place - the Jacuzzi tub was spot on for a cold evening. Pool was modern and the gym ample. Love that it had a dedicated parking space so no need to worry about parking. (BTW - loved the Tim Horton coffee pods! wish we had them in the UK)

The place was amazing! My family and I enjoyed the harbour. There was so much to do and the place we stayed at had so much for us to do. From amazing seasonings to cook with to all sorts of board games to play with the family! We had so much fun and didn’t know where to start for activities, we enjoyed the indoors as much as we did the outdoors! The host did well on focusing on the detail for this place.
