We didn’t eat there, so, I don’t know about it.
We arrived and we entered our room finding it still dirty. The manager was nice but moved us in another room smaller and not nice.
Broken bottom wall in some places, with the nail showing (dangerous), ceiling paper exfoliating, door damaged,…

It was horrible very run down smells disgusting. Floor in the kitchen area was torn up. Walls are covered in dirt as well as the doors in entrance ways & room. The chain lock was detached hanging there from the door stripping. Tub had yellow lines all through it. No elevator so carrying luggage up 12 stairs is tough. Shame on Sandman to put their name on such as dilapidated so called hotel. No handicap parking on right side of hotel.
Sandman McBride is an older hotel under new management that has made significant improvements from the last time we stayed here. The rooms are clean comfortable and fully equiped; the management courteous and engaging. The hotel is a very adequate wayside stop on a long lonely highway. It is not a vacation resort.
Quick and simple check in & out. The breakfast was very good and the room was clean. What more could you want from a roadside hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and had a long chat just prior to departure
