The service was exceptional. Hands down one of the best experiences I had in a long run .. the old gentleman at the counter was super nice and the guy who took our dinner order was no exception. Overall, worth it . Highly recommended

The location and facilities were first rate. It was a haven after a long day’s driving and hiking. The welcome and information on arrival were appreciated as was the tranquility and space around our unit.

A bit pricey for what you get but options in the area for what we needed were limited. Restaurant onsite with good menu and great service was very convenient for us, especially after some long days travelling and hiking. Loved parking right at our door as it allowed for easy unloading and loading. Our room was towards the back away from the main road which was quieter than other places we stayed. Disappointed that I didn’t check the details of the listing before I booked to see if it had a microwave and fridge, which it did not. TV was miniature but we didn’t use anyway. Internet was spotty when both of us were trying to use it. Shower was wonky and whole room could have been upgraded with a few things while still keeping the charm. bed was not to my liking —- a bit hard—-ended up not sleeping much. All in all it was ok for one night and the restaurant was a huge bonus but I would see if there are other options next time.

The hotel is quite good. The room was clean, it had everything you needed, bed, towels, shower soap, TV, cups. We had 1 bed. The rooms are not new, but in good condition. There is a restaurant at the hotel, open from 7am to 9pm. The food is not bad, the prices are average, not low.

The Mountain View location is situated at the foot of Cape Breton, and it must be stunning when the weather is good. The staff members were friendly and proactive in assisting us. The facilities were well-maintained and operated smoothly.

What a beautiful little corner of the earth. Everything was perfect, the rooms, location, staff and food. We took the waitress recommendation and went to see the sunset over Pleasant bay......amazing!

The location is perfect right inside the Cape Brenton National Park. Big lawn area and include a diner—typical motel style. You get fresh air, a quiet mountain atmosphere, and peace.

Location was beautiful, although there was nowhere to eat other than at the hotel’s restaurant.
