Perfect location right inside Vancouver Airport, making it incredibly convenient for a layover or flight connection. The staff was exceptionally polite and welcoming, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. My room was spotless and had an amazing view, adding to the overall experience. Great atmosphere and decor. We enjoyed the pool, the outdoor bar and the casino. It was really an experience to stay here and our room had the best view of the harbour and the arriving planes. It was so easy to reach both the airport and Vancouver downtown.

We arrived (moved from the hotel across the street) very early. It was still too early to check in and guest services staff cordially offered us to store our luggage in the storage room while we went out to explore the Vancouver. The location is perfect. Its close to the ariport and SkyTrain stop. Hotel has free shuttle to the airport which runs every 40 minutes. Rooms are clean and up to the standart.

The staff were amazing, so helpful and welcoming. I asked for a late check out and even though it was very busy for them (new years eve), they allowed the latest they could. The room was huge and the bed so comfortable. The on site restaurant and bar was also a delight after a long flight. Free shuttle easy to get with multiple curtsey phones at airport.

The bed was the coziest!!!!!!! Underground parking was a bonus, location was fabulous- not far from the airport, not a busy area when we went. Lots of great restaurants and shops around. Loved the washer/dryer at the end of our travels.

I did not spend much time in Richmond this trip, as I came in to see the Lene Lovich show at the Rickshaw theatre in Vancouver. I am however familiar with, and drawn to Richmond, particularly for it's diversity in both people and entertainment options.

Richmond is a very beautiful city.

Richmond is a very beautiful city. It is very clean, and the natives are extremely helpful and friendly. The Public Transportation system is very comprehensive and very easy to navigate. {Elvin and Kitty August 2025}

Very expensive. Especially the restaurants. Area was ok.

Very expensive. Especially the restaurants. Area was ok. It was a reasonable ride to Vancouver, not far from the airport. We felt safe in the area where Sandman is. We used Uber to get to the cruise and the hotel shuttle fir the airport. I was surprised they didn't have a shuttle for the cruise ships even if they charged.

Wonderful area. Clean, beautiful.

Wonderful area. Clean, beautiful. Close to Steveston Waterfront. You do need a car, but there are so many excellent restaurants and things to do. We enjoyed walking along the waterfront, and the Britannia Shipyards was a must see.

I enjoyed being in Richmond, nice quiet area traffic wasn’t too bad, if I were to ever go back I would definitely stay in the same hotel, I enjoyed visiting people from all walks of life and amazed to hear where they arrived from and where they’re travelling to, I was fascinated with one traveller when he said he was going on an Alaskan cruise!

This is the highest end option if you plan an overnight stay at Vancouver airport before a morning flight. The room was fine, not as nice as other Fairmonts I have stayed in, but comfortable. The hotel bar food was not great and very, very expensive. The staff, particularly at check in, is very professional as you would expect at a 5 star hotel. This is not a cheap option but the better amenities and the fact it is in the airport probably make it worthwhile over other area options. Vancouver airport hotels are really stupidly expensive.

My first visit to Canada I just needed some where to crash for one night. The hotel is a little outdated, however 10 out of 10 for cleanliness and the breakfast is very adequate with plenty of choice for a continental with hot scrambled eggs. We used the hotel’s shuttle service which very convenient . Stayed one night to get ferry to the island next day. Bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Staff are helpful, cheerful & friendly .

The room was comfortable and clean, with a great shower, and I couldn't hear any noise from the airplanes. I had an issue with my reservation, but the staff was great in resolving it. The location is quite convenient if you're arriving or leaving by plane(the shuttle service was also punctual and comfortable). Breakfast was okay, but still a plus since most hotels in the Vancouver area don't offer anything. And it's also pet friendly!

Great location if you are flying to/from Vancouver International. Nice restaurants within short driving distance plus Moxies at the hotel. The room included a seating area which was perfect for a repacking of suitcases/carryons before flying. The room was quiet and there was plenty of parking.

A call from the Vancouver airport shuttle phone and our free shuttle to the hotel was there in about 15 mins. It was a short drive to the hotel. We used the Canada Line Sky Train to go back an forth to downtown. The train station was just across the street and it was inexpensive to use.
