First of all, the hostess, Veena, is a very nice, friendly and kind lady. I am so happy to meet her. I enjoyed talking with her while having lovely breakfast with home made jam, which impressed me. We had an absolutely wonderful time at Emily’s house! The house is not only beautiful and very cozy, but also perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need – and spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace and simply taking in the peaceful atmosphere. What truly makes Velvet Fern Guesthouse special is the thoughtful and loving attention to detail: everything was personally and carefully prepared for our arrival, including a lovely breakfast and bikes we could use – such a kind touch! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed. Great room had a pool table, dart board and tons of room for our athletes to eat and play in. Storage room had an area to wax skis and a boot dryer for our wet ski gear, such a bonus! A great facility for our biathlon team to stay! We will be back!
