I spent 2 nights alone as a treat to myself. This is the best place to spend time alone (or not ), you can't get bored as you can spend time at the spa or the gym, or sit at the balcony and watch passers by. The staff is nice and discreet. They'll answer any questions and accommodate your needs. Very enjoyable spa and very well equipped gym. The bedding is very comfortable. The room is extremely clean and cozy. The shower is amazing.

Don’t judge too harshly for the lack of air conditioning - in such historic buildings, getting permits is extremely difficult. Everything is arranged to the highest standard, and breakfast is excellent - served in a restaurant that once held a Michelin star. + There are so many lovely little touches, like complimentary drinks in the fridge. The town itself is charming and full of history. And you’ll be staying just 300 meters from the inner courtyard of Burgdorf Castle, where you can watch the sunset. Highly recommended!

Gabor at the desk had his eye on everything but was never too busy to help me plan my day there! From getting the bus / train pass to visiting the Rose Garden and giving me a map. How can I put it? The hotel is so good which easily exceeded my expectations. It's literally next to wankdorf station, takes 3 mins to Bern main station. There are buses, trams around as well, even if you want to walk down to the city centre, it won't take more than half an hour. The staff are so friendly, they even provided us complimentary drink on the day we arrived. Hotel itself has this modern vibes from lobby to individual room. Unfortunately we didn't try the food there, but it looked delicious when other guests had it.
