By beside train station which was great for early berina express train! Easy walk to old town, christmas market. There are also supermarkets and food nearby. Parking available right at the doorstep. Top notch service by the staff especially Fabio and Lina. I left something important in the room and checked out on the way to other cities in Switzerland and Fabio and team tried very hard to contact me and went out of the way to deliver the parcel back to me safety and quickly. Cannot thank the team enough, didn't expect such helpfulness and hospitality. Highly recommended if you are visiting Chur.

Very nice hotel with a good breakfast and comfortable beds. It is a bit far from center but a big plus of the hotel is that for a very law price you are given a guest card which you can use for public transport all over Chur and have discounts for Brambuesch Bahn and free entrance to some museums and other places of interest. And it is very significant as prices in Switzerland leave much to be desired. The bus stop is a few meters away from the hotel Sommerau. Also, despite the fact that the hotel is in the suburbs and close to the main road, you almost don't hear the noise due to the good isolation.

Location was great - short walk from the train station and easy to find, but quiet at night and close to eateries. I was particularly impressed by the availability of electrical adapters when I didn’t even ask. Staff were wonderful and helpful, they made me feel welcome and took time to answer my questions. The room was clean and well-equipped; overall a very comfortable stay.

Great location—just a short walk from the train station, no taxi needed! Loved the platz. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the beautifully designed breakfast room made it even better. This was a great place to stay. It was a very good value for the money. We took the shared bathroom option and we did find it very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The shower was also great. The hotel is located perfectly. We did go in the autumn but it looked like a good winter hotel. The room itself was well furnished and with good beds. We recommend it.
