Venue is very secluded.
Venue is very secluded. This is meant for hikers and campers and not for families travelling place to place. The eating area is infested with flies that makes it very unhygienic. The room has no air-conditioning and the window has no grills and makes it unsafe to be left open with children. This caused us to sleep in a window shut room making it extremely hot in the summer with only a fan to provide ventilation. We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all...
We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all of us. We had so much fun and never even used our car. We loved the village and the hiking path along the river. The restaurant was very good. We also enjoyed the restaurant next door in the botanical garden and fish farm. We have truly discovered a hidden gem of Switzerland. Many touristic places are easily accessible from there, and the hotel itself offers comfort and abundance of entertainment, including mini golf, pool, beach volley… The room was clean and the view from the balcony - absolutely stunning.
