I've stayed here 2x before and came back because it's such a lovely place in a great location - two minutes' walk from the bus station at Chandolin Poste, two minutes from the grocery shop, and with an amazing breakfast and dinner offerings. The rooms (I stayed in the bunk bed option but by myself) are very comfortable, with a great bathroom setup (rain shower!), comfy bed, water, coffee machine and pods, and lift access to the rooms. The staff are truly lovely and let us store our overnight bags before and after our stay while we went to work up on the mountain.

Nice little (original Swiss Valais) town. Lots of traffic. Very old infrastructure in the ski area (with a few new gondolas and chairlifts). Waiting in line for the lift is annoying. The longest time I've experienced.

Nice place but it seems they start to turn it into a construction site, a lot of new development at higher altitude levels ; it still has charm but fear that this unknown gem is now fully exposed to foreign and domestic real estate investments. I come here for over 18 years and witnessed these gradual changes with mixed emotions. Also prices are hiked up seriously, dinner, supermarket, replacing a broken ski helmet with a new one etc...seems all 30 to 40 percent more expensive than comparable resorts in France .

Grimentz is a very pretty village up on the mountains.

Grimentz is a very pretty village up on the mountains. But it is still small enough to be very quiet and cozy. Having a car helps a lot. You can also drive up to a dam and lake or even higher up to the glacier (Parking space at both locations). Cable car stations in the middle of the village with access to both mountain sides. Lots of shopping options.

Grimentz has two ski areas, two distinct sides, and is quite alright for families. The village has a pretty old center. Restaurants are hard to find on TripAdvisor. Après-ski is practically nonexistent, and there's nothing decent on the slopes either.

Grimentz is a very charming Valais mountain village.

Grimentz is a very charming Valais mountain village. Thanks to the new connecting lift to the Zinal ski area, a wider range of slopes is now available. For skiers seeking variety, a visit to the St-Luc - Chandolin ski area on the opposite side of the valley is definitely worthwhile.

A lovely little village, very attractive.

A lovely little village, very attractive. A superb spot for wonderful romantic walks 🥰. Peace and quiet, ideal for recharging and reconnecting with nature. For food, I recommend *A la clair fontaine* restaurant; the food is excellent ☺️ ☺️

Absolutely Everything. Breath taking views! Amazing Staff! Immaculate Apartment! Switzerland was just one of the many countries that I visited on my Euro trip so far. This has been my best accommodation yet. Exactly like the pictures. Wished I stayed longer. Thank you for the hospitality that was provided to us at any time of day. I loved this place!

Good location. Small bathtub in the bathroom to heat up after a long day outside in the cold. Included some discount-cards for skilifts and other activities in the area. Small but cozy apartment, with a stocked kitchen.
