The apartament is nice, clean and quite, it has everything for a pleasant stay, including a private parking lot, coffee, tee, some snacks, bathroom supplies like shower gels, nice terrace, a tv and a fridge. Also the bed was comfortable and big enough for 2 persons. The host was friendly and professional, no issues whatsoever. We are satisfied with our stay and will book again.

The room was unhygienic; there was hair everywhere. The toilet seat and shower head were broken. The room was noisy. We paid extra for breakfast, but it only consisted of bread, butter, and jam. I would never recommend it.

Minusio isn't very touristy and has good shops.

Minusio isn't very touristy and has good shops. Locarno and Ascona are just a few minutes away by bus. You can walk along the lake to Tenero or Locarno. It has a beautiful castle with a park, and the Grotto Constantini is absolutely delicious.

Getting around is very easy on foot, by bus, and by bicycle.

Getting around is very easy on foot, by bus, and by bicycle. Shops are easily accessible. The location is perfect for many excursions. It's also ideal for dialysis patients, as the dialysis center is only about five minutes away by car. There are many restaurants nearby.

I need to revise my review: Everything was actually very good. The inconveniences we experienced weren't related to the apartment itself, but to some exterior construction work. Therefore, the rating I want to give is 8.5, not 7.0 as in my first review.

The location was perfect!

The location was perfect! A few minutes' walk took you to Lake Maggiore, where you could enjoy a lovely stroll along the promenade. It was close to Locarno but not in the city center, so it was still away from the hustle and bustle. Lidl was within walking distance, which was also very convenient. Visit the monastery and take the Centovalli train to Domodossola.

Minusio is an excellent base for exploring the region's...

Minusio is an excellent base for exploring the region's tourist attractions. The beautiful Alpine valleys are a 30-minute drive away, and regular buses also run there. The port of Locarno, with boats to the Brissago Islands and other interesting destinations, and the funicular to Madonna del Sasso are within walking distance.
