Wonderful hotel at an exceptional location directly at the lake shore, and while on the outskirts of Lucerne with a frequent bus connection that takes one to the center in about 10 minutes, with the bus stop right outside the hotel. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, large rooms with view onto the lake.

The manager and his wife were wonderful! We ended up eating every mean overlooking the beautiful Lake Lucerne. We got to know the waiters and they were so kind. We went for a day into Lucerne, and the manager recommended the best restaurant, Brasserie Bodu which we have since passed on to friends visiting Lucerne. We had a great day, but couldn't wait to get back to Seehotel Gotthard. We would definitely return! Thank you for making our stay special ...

The level of service is superior even to many luxury hotels. Rooms are well-designed, clear and actually comfortable. Breakfasts are great, especially croassants. Perfect location!! 5 minutes walk from the main train station and port.Also 5 minutes walk to reach the downtown. The meeting point of all guided 1 day tours organised from Luzern by different travel companies is at the next corner only. So easy to reach. Breakfast was delicious with really fresh and high quality food, I loved it. The ambiance of the hotel is really nice, all the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Room was clean and comfortable. I would choose this hotel for my next visit in Luzern, as well.
