Wow! Where do I begin! When you approach the village you will be in amazement by the Castle of Tarasp that you see set high up on a rocky hill! Then when you arrive at the hotel, it looks like a scene from a fairy-tale! Beautiful flowers everywhere and the structure of the building is very pleasing to the eye! The staff are super friendly and very kind! They will make sure that you are having a wonderful time! I was surprised when I saw my room and the spectacular view from the windows! I had the single room with the four-poster bed and no detail was spared! The architecture in my room was amazing and beautiful woodwork too! The bed even had a remote control so you could sit up or put your feet up! Nice stereo system too! When you look out the windows you see snow capped peaks, a beautiful lake, green pastures and if you stick your head out the window and look to your right, you see the most Amazing view of the medieval Tarasp Castle! There's a beautiful garden filled with flowers located on different levels of the property! When you're walking through the halls, staircase and dining rooms, you will be taken back in time by all of the pictures and alpine memorabilia! The place is just so colorful to look at! There are picturesque hikes all around the quaint little village! Breakfast and dinner were very delicious too! When I come back to this area, I will stay here again! The property is absolutely beautiful. the staff is one of the most hospitable I've ever came across. it is clean, quiet and designed to instill peace and true relaxation. the view is fabulous, and the little village is charming. if you need to get away from the world for a bit, that's the place. the hotel restaurant is so good, breakfast and dinner was worth every franc. chefs and waiters were so nice and professional. the hotel also have a pool nearby, located in the middle of green fields, its magical and very private. i will defiantly return asap.

great hospitality of the owners, we could not have diner in the restaurant because of a private party but they have more than compensated this by offering a bottle of wine for our pick nick during hiking and by their friendlyness, we will surely go back.

Beautiful hotel and location! We arrived on Monday, which means the restaurant is closed but the hosts still made us some food and it was incredible! Also loved the breakfast. The room was very nice and spacious.

Beautiful little hotel with a lovely spa area and great breakfast. Martin and Melanie were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do you enough for you to make sure you have a great stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Had an absolutely perfect stay. The hotel is cozy but also feels luxurious. Everything is nice and clean. The breakfast was so delicious, it had everything and even more you wish a breakfast included. The fitness, spa and the pool are perfect for everyone who loves to work out, but also enjoys relaxing and recovering. The spa is super clean and even offers small snacks. The best thing however was the staff. Everyone was super welcome, warm and always available. As a solo traveler, it is extra nice when you feel looked after. Every morning I left a note about which trail I would explore, and every time I came back in the afternoon, I received the nicest welcome. I really felt liked they cared about my me and my safety. The best place to stay in Zermatt and I will definitely return. Thank you very much for the best stay in Zermatt.
