It's an orderly and clean town.
It's an orderly and clean town. They are very respectful of health regulations. It's representative of the region it's in and is often a transit point. The landscape is coastal and still bears the memory of the 2015 floods; you can walk along the coast in search of tranquility and moments of reflection. Excellent sunsets.

Chañaral isn't ugly; it's even a heritage site with beautiful beaches and the Pan de Azúcar National Park. However, the service is very poor, lacking a tourism vision, and this is where the coastal tourist area of the Atacama region begins. It has been badly damaged by nature.
