It is an unattractive town in a beautiful place.
It is an unattractive town in a beautiful place. My main reason for stopping was to see the archeological museum, which had very good reviews. The town's web site lists it as an attraction, but it has evidently been closed for weeks or months. Nothing about opening hours or reopening date is posted outside. The apartment has a new, high-capacity air conditioner that took care of record-breaking summer temperatures BAKING the city of Los Andes....which has NO "alpine height refreshing breezes"....as one might falsely-imagine.
