The Araucanía coast has rough seas, but it's beautiful.
The Araucanía coast has rough seas, but it's beautiful. There are a variety of places to enjoy a good meal, a café that surprised us (Entrevientos), and you can walk around and enjoy the town. Oh! And it's common for people to greet you on the street for no reason.

The proximity to beautiful places and beaches, like Maule...
The proximity to beautiful places and beaches, like Maule Beach, Lake Budi, and the mouth of the Imperial River, is a major plus. The scenery is stunning. We ate at the cove in Puerto Saavedra. Keep in mind that internet access in the area isn't great, so download an app and map to your phone before you go.
