Wonderful staff like Jeff & Shen @ the front desk who epitomise the meaning of true hospitality in the hotel line. At breakfast everyone, regardless of status, chipped in to help serve plus ensured the dining pl was clean. We enjoyed a marvellous stay! Will definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who joins a cruise there!

This hotel is Shanghai's best kept secret. If you need to stay north of the city, stay here. It feels like a miniature Disneyland. Pictures of the grand staircase are accurate and do not disappoint. Staff checking in told me that the rate for my room had changed -- it had actually become *cheaper* relative to what I booked. They spent a half hour trying to get me the cheaper room rate -- outstanding. The bedroom was luxurious, like staying in a palace. Largest bed I've ever seen -- 1.5x wider than it was long. Short walk from Baoyang Rd metro station. Maybe a half hour to get back to the city on the metro, so not too long though it feels long the first time! Mall next door has food and other amenities. Breakfast was delicious. This was the best hotel I stayed in for the price during my last trip to China.

The staff were helpful especially the one checking us in. Even though there is a language barrier but they have the pocket translator to help ease the process. All staff were amazing, front desk, the coffee house, the cleaners were absolutely delightful. A walking distance for places to eat (5 mins walk) Starbucks, neighborhood mall, a park, etc. Breakfast buffet is great, local food consist of Congee, Noodles, Fried rice and some dim sum. We stayed for 6 nights and tried all!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel! The experience was truly delightful from start to finish. The breakfast was a standout, especially the excellent Chinese options which were fresh and delicious. The room was spacious, immaculately cleaned, and offered a beautiful view which made it even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and excellent service!

I love everything here. The breakfast is very good and the room is super comfortable as well. I highly recommend the Roof bar on the 29th floor where you can enjoy the outstanding view of Shanghai. The hotel's location is also an outstanding point, you can go everywhere from here quickly and conveniently.
