The best hotel during our trip - the staff help you of everything - location is perfect - the food is nice - I can only recommend. We order cars through the hotel, with a good price, and the staff explained to us how to climb the mountain. They offer umbrella, tee, and all the things you need. The room is good equipped, with electronic devices - berthing is perfect, we had a great times there

A very nice guesthouse with lots of charm and beautiful surroundings. Located just outside Hongcun it is surrounded by paddy fields and a small river. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The whole guesthouse provides lots space and opportunities to get to know the owners and other guests or just relax. The hosts are very helpful and will make your stay just like feeling at home.

Came here for a reunion with family from Australia, Malaysia and UK. Top quality high spec accommodation. Tastefully designed with traditoonal art and craft and at the same time also modern technology. Reception has a lounge where guests can play guitar or chinese instruments. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are siaeable. Toilets are high tech with heated seats and computerised features on a remote control. Help with laundry is available. Breakfast is a generous spread. With traditional homemade dishes like noodles and congee alongside fruits and buns. More than the excellent accommodation, the couple who run the hotel are kind and generous with their time and hospitality. They made us feel like family. We had an enjoyable time chatting over tea. Will definitely stay here when we visit again.

The hotel is very new with contemporary designed interiors and we found the room and dining room bright and spacious. Staff were very helpful. They responded readily to online messaging in English during the booking. Loved the morning buffet. Had complimentary local snacks and water bottles in our room at check-in. The hotel referred a private minivan driver to transport us the 40 minutes from the Huangshan North train station to the hotel. We needed wechat to communicate to arrange with the driver. Or else you will need to use mandarin to speak with the driver. Accomodated our late check-in as we arrived later by fast train from Hong Kong. James X. was patient in explaining the simple booking process for us to hike Huangshan and he even personally walked with us for 5 minutes to the closeby Huangshan mountain tour booking and bus centre where you are transported to the cable car stations. Very close. Definitely would book this hotel again.

This is a very comfortable countryside hotel, with clean rooms and beautiful views i could see from the bed directly. The owner comes from Austria and his Chinese wife can speak fluent English and German, giving me a lot of travel advice here. In addition, the chef here can not only make very authentic Anhui cuisine, but also very authentic German cuisine. Roast pork elbow is especially recommended! This could totally be a vacation destination! Not only a sleeping-place. Staying in the hotel is already a great experience! I’ll come back.

Really nice and cozy hotel. Communication was excellent and beyond our expectations. We could ask all our questions before our stay which really helped with our planning. They also speak very good English. While we encountered some unexpected problems in the mountains the staff of the hotel was very responsive, attentive and helped us out tremendously. We are truly grateful for their efforts and going beyond for their guests! I would definitely come back next time here when visiting the mountains.

Location of hotel is only 4 mins away from Huangshan Scenic Area Bus Station. Staffs are super friendly and helpful and patiently explain Huangshan hiking routes. Room is spacious, airly and bright. Washing liquid and bucket are provided in the room for hand wash. Free breakfast comes with heap of variety of foods. Received a welcome packet of the famous Huangshan biscuit (香饼)

It’s a lovely home stay in Emerald Valley near Huangshan. Very clean with delicious simple Chinese breakfast. Owner was very helpful in providing loads of useful information for planning our Huangshan 3-day-2-night hike up to Bright Peak, 2nd highest summit on Huangshan and down. Walking distance to visit Emerald Pools and complimentary shuttle to Nine Dragon Waterfalls.

The host was very nice. She helped us to find a restaurant and to plan our trip to the Huang shan. We had a slight change of plan and she could accomodate it readily. The hotel is very welcoming and peaceful. The room had a nice design.
