My fiancé and I were blown away by the TWO massive swimming pools surrounded by mountain views - we had romantic midnight swims under the stars! The location is unbeatable: just a 2-min golf cart ride to Zhangjiajie Forest Park entrance (yes, the cart waits for you!). Staff even arranged our hiking routes to avoid crowds. Breakfast noodles and freshly baked croissants were to die for. Already planning our anniversary trip back! P.S. Ask for Room 301 - best private balcony!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the simply amazing service! I was greeted with such responsiveness and attention that I immediately felt very comfortable. Every detail was explained, everything was suggested, they helped literally at every step. I would like to separately note the transfer - meeting at the airport and free transfer to the city center turned out to be a huge advantage when choosing a hotel. It is really convenient and creates a feeling of care from the first minutes of your stay. The breakfast was wonderful, and the atmosphere itself was calm and quiet, which is ideal for relaxation and a complete reboot. Excellent service, a great team with whom you feel in good hands. I will be happy to recommend this hotel to everyone and really hope to come back again!

This is great a hotel! About 10min walk from the main entrance to the Avatar park. Lady at the desk helped to buy tickets to the park( it was cheaper thru her then official at the park gate. Everything worked. Our passports were the tickets) breakfast is nice, and enough to start the day. Rooms are clean. When checking out we received gifts . There is a laundry room on the top floor which was very very useful! Especially after hours of hiking! Laundry soap for free. Lady at the desk and her husband were very helpful. They even let us take a shower at lobby bathroom even though we checked out. I was very glad that we chose this hotel over others because the friendly kind atmosphere. Very good warm memories forever in my heart. Thank you!!!

Overall, the entrance fees of National Park is expensive as it sold as 4 days entry . Tiemen Mt , Grand Canyon and Dragon Caves adding up are costly for family of four. Dining out in restaurants are more expensive than other city like Chong Qing , Shang hai ,etc…. The nature of both mountains are breathtaking and people are friendly.

Be prepared to walk and climb plenty of steps. Thank goodness they have escalators up Tianmenshen and cable cars & lifts up and down the mountains. Take your time, enjoy the fresh air and awesome views.

The nature in national park and Tianmen mountain and Grand canyon breath taking. The glass cliff walk and glass bridges interesting when not in clouds. People's reactions to them hilarious. Some of the hiking so relaxing and the further you go from the lifts, escalators the closer you feel to nature. Be prepared for steps, weather changes and the golden whip is valley hike that anyone can do at any age and so happy to see whole hike wheelchair accessible.

Beautiful place to visit for adventurous trekkers and hikers. GEt close to nature and fresh mountain air. Views at special spots are fantastic. I stayed for a week as we need time to rest after the long hikes. Give allowance for thick mist in the highlands and rainy days where views are not clear and visibility is poor. Visit lowland areas (10 mile gallery and golden whip stream) when highlands are misty. Try to avoid the golden week though there are additional buses and staff to help out. During this period, entering through west gate is helpful as human traffic is lesser.

Beautiful national park to explore and less touristy town full of interesting cuisine and local attractions , not too crowded but lively in the evenings, mountains and glass walk ways amazing , some beautiful under rated ancient Buddha Temples at the top of Tianmin mountain we enjoyed more than Beijing

Stunning!

Stunning! our 2nd favorite natural attraction in China, 2nd only to Huangshan Mountain. lots of great trails with exceptional views of a singular landscape. we stayed inside the park at YOLO hotel, which made access very easy. fortunately, transportation inside the park is shuttle bus only, they run frequently, and there's no congestion from private autos like you get at Yosemite. there's a big focus on "Avatar", but that is only one pillar of hundreds. Zhangjiajie is like Arizona's Grand Canyon except in a temperate rain forest, and on a more intimate scale, plus there are no incessant helicopters or mule feces.

The hotel is located in walking distance to the cable car station to visit Tianment mountain. Jerry was friendly and welcoming, waited for us to check us in as we had a late night train. He also offered storing our luggage as we did an overnight stay in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Our rooms were clean, comfortable with western toilets, everything was great. There are grocery stores and street food stalls nearby, especially recommended the sweet lady serving noodles next door.

We’re we’re stunned by this amazing hotel. Beautiful rooms with wooden furniture, super high tech, comfy beds, breathtaking rooftop terrace and a perfect service. The crew made the stay unforgettable! Thanks to the two guys for picking us up and helping us with everything, to Lily for organising our tickets to Zhangjiajie National Park, to the female chef for the great Chinese breakfast and to the owner for a moonfest-party-invitation! The hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s right near the West Gate into Zhangjiajie National Park. Tiffany was absolutely amazing! She helpfully provided us with all the info we need, giving us tips and maps and booking our tickets for us. She drove us to the park entrance on the golf cart and in to town for dinner or to buy snacks. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay special! We absolutely loved it and can’t recommend it enough!!

This hotel is really excellent! The price I booked was very favorable, and the hotel itself is great. It's only an 8-minute walk from the hotel to the Forest Park. The hotel gave me a map of Zhangjiajie as a gift, which includes maps of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, and Tianmen Mountain. The front desk staff introduced how to tour around Zhangjiajie, and I really had a happy journey here!
